I am 34 year male, have stretch marks on stomach and under arms since 2009. What should I do?

MD
Dermatologist,
I am 34 year male, have stretch marks on stomach and under arms since 2009. What should I do?
Hi. Appearance of stretch marks is a physiological process. Treatment of the stretch marks include application of almond/ cocunut oil in the morning after bath and topical retinoic acid 0.05% at night time. Also start taking cap vit e. It will take at least 3-4 months time before you will be able to appreciate difference, so you have to apply the creams daily. Also you can opt for fractional laser treatment for stretch marks that give also give good results with multiple sittings.

My skin is oily and I have pimples on my face. What should I do to get rid of this?
Hi about your pimples and oily face, the eruption of pimples or pustules, black marks and oily skin/ face are due to excessive sebum secreted by sebaceous glands and hair follicles especially on the face. Aloe vera is good but apply garden fresh. However its full effects are visible and all skin dark, pimples etc can be addressed fully if you go systematically. Do intestinal cleansing, do detoxification by herbal bitters, do raktashodhan by herbs, modify diet, apply classic combo of 'varnya gana' herbs after proper skin cleansing, derma care and hydration - all by herbs and economically. No body can stop improvement. If interested for further details and/or ready customised solutions, pl consult online.

5 Factors That Determine The Frequency Of Breast Examination

MD - Obstetrtics & Gynaecology, MBBS
Gynaecologist, Chandigarh
5 Factors That Determine The Frequency Of Breast Examination

A breast examination is a way of detecting early changes that may find lumps of other growth in the breast. This is a manual form of examination that may be carried out by the doctor or even by the patient. This kind of examination helps in detecting the onset of breast cancer and helps in successful treatment of the same. It is an essential screening strategy that all women must go through. Let us cast a glance on the various details regarding this examination, and also how frequently it must be conducted.

  1. Age: Women who have reached the age of 18 are said to have matured physically and sexually. They should perform this examination once they have reached the said age in order to detect any anomalies in the way the physical changes occur in the breast tissue.
  2. Procedure: One should begin by looking at one's reflection in the mirror to find any rashes or dimpling in the breasts. The shape, size and colour of the breasts and nipples must also be studied so as to check for any anomalies. Inverted nipples, redness and soreness must also be reported to the doctor. Once you are done checking the visuals, you can raise your arms and look for any changes. Then, you will need to lie down and feel your breasts by using a circular motion. The finger pads must be used in order to check for any lumps. One must start from the centre and move the breasts sideways. Any wet and slippery feeling must be reported to the doctor immediately.
  3. Pressure: During the breast examination, you must use light pressure for the skin and tissue that lie beneath the breasts, while medium to moderate pressure should be used for the middle portion of the breasts. One must use a firm hand to check the tissue that lies at the back of the breasts, near the rib cage.
  4. Frequency: One must get into the habit of conducting a breast examination at least once a fortnight or once a month, without fail. You can also go to the gynaecologist for an examination in case you are not confident of conducting it on your own with proper movements and accuracy. You may also journalise your breast examination findings.
  5. Menstrual Cycles: When you are going through your menstrual cycle or period, it is important to remember that your breasts can become tender just before or after the start of the cycle. So, do not panic if you think you have found a lump or any other growth at this time. It is best to check again after a week and then visit the doctor about checking the same. If you wish to discuss about any specific problem, you can consult a gynaecologist.

First of all, wear comfortable shoes. Secondly, dip your feet in warm water daily for 15 minutes. Scrub your soles and pat it dry. Massage with Olive Oil for 15-20 minutes, wear socks and then sleep. Repeat this daily or 3-4 times a week.

Hey. I have problem of blue patches on my skin. Specially on thighs. Please suggest me something.
Dear, blue patches on thigh occurs due to venous flow obstruction meaning lack of proper circulation. To get rid from these blue patches: * make your weight in control specially your belly fat. Make your belly area fat free. * do regular walk for 10 to 15 minutes daily and avoid long hours of sitting. * do pavanmuktasan daily for 5 minutes under guidance of yoga expert. * do massage with mustard oil on your thigh region slowly in upward motion for 5 minutes.

Constipation. Blood stool anal pain how can I get relief from that its I faced the problem oftenly.

MD Hom., Certificate in Food and Nutrition, BHMS, Diploma In Yoga, PGDM

Constipation. Blood stool anal pain how can I get relief from that its I faced the problem oftenly.
A change in diet can help keep the stools regular and soft. Eat more fiber, such as fruit and vegetables, or switching your cereal breakfast to bran. Water is the best drink, so increase water consumption. And avoid caffeine. Losing weight may help reduce the incidence and severity of constipation and the bloody stool. For differentiating the disease the exact diagnosis is to be made and then homeopathic treatment should be started then. For more advice, consult me.
