Having A Baby After 35 - Positive Steps To Make This A Reality!

In recent times numerous women stay busy in building a firm block for their career among other things that they put off the idea of procreation. Though it is quite common now, want-to-be mother must be aware of the risks and complications associated with a late pregnancy as well as the fact that it might be tough to conceive in the first place. The production of eggs is at a peak between twenty-four to twenty-six years of age. Thus, having a baby after 35 may be a matter of struggle as your time-period for natural fertility has decreased dramatically. But with In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) procedures it becomes certainly possible.

Conception after 35 is possible
No matter whether you are suffering from infertility because of genetic or any other medical situations, you will receive the greatest happiness of your life through IVF. There may be several complications when you try to get pregnant such as miscarriage, genetic abnormality, down-syndrome, etc. One fact is true that each and every negative scenario definitely possesses a positive side. Thus, even in the case of conceiving a baby after 35 years of age may have positive results and that too without any problems.

A healthy lifestyle increases the success rate of IVF
The chances of infertility are rapidly increasing due to the polluted environment as well as lifestyle choices. People consume food and also use daily household items that are stuffed with chemicals as well as inhale polluted air. Building up of harmful toxins inside your body will obviously have a negative impact on your reproductive system and thus conceiving a baby after 35 may prove to be a bit tougher. The egg's quality may also decline along with increased risks of a child having greater chromosomal problems. Though the IVF treatment will be by your side for letting you have a baby, yet you won't be able to get rid of all toxic substances through IVF. So, if you are trying of having a baby after 35-positive steps to make this a reality, then you need to change your lifestyle and lead a healthy one for the sake of your future baby.

Various reproductive toxins are present that might prevent you from conceiving or have a healthy baby and so essential to avoid a daily diet rich in additives, sugar, processed food, alcohol, etc. Instead, you should prefer consuming organically grown vegetables and fruits. Regular exercise will help you in eliminating toxins through sweat.

Thus, if you are able to detoxify your body and make necessary lifestyle changes, then having a baby after 35 with the help of IVF will not be a problem at all.

In case you have a concern or query you can always consult an expert & get answers to your questions!

Reasons You Can't Get Pregnant - Plus A Fertility Checklist

Here's a list of the most common reasons women can't get pregnant, plus a fertility checklist. The reasons for not getting pregnant range from azoospermia (no sperm) to irregular periods. These male and female fertility checklists will help you decide if you should see a doctor or infertility specialist.

Think about making lifestyle changes if you can't get pregnant. 'Couples who have sought specialist help and have been diagnosed with 'unexplained fertility' may find that making certain lifestyle changes can assist in conception,' writes Michael Dooley in Fit for Fertility. 'These fertility checklists might be useful.'

Why Can't You Get Pregnant?

The Fit for Fertility Checklist is made up of four individual checklists, for the egg, the sperm, conception, and general male and female fertility problems.

Fertility Checklist #1: The Egg (Female Fertility)

Answer yes or no to the following questions:

1. Are you having irregular, short (less than 21 days) or long (greater than 34 days) periods?

2. Do you bleed between your periods?

3. Are you overweight (with a body-mass index greater than 25)?

4. Are you underweight (with a body mass index under 18.5)?

5. Do you exercise excessively?

6. Have you had treatment for cancer?

7. Are you being treated for depression?

8. Do you have diabetes?

9. Have you ever had thyroid problems?

10. Have you stopped having periods?

Fertility Checklist #2: The Sperm (Male Fertility)

Answer yes or no to the following questions:

1. Have you had an operation on your testicles?

2. Have you had a hernia repair?

3. Is there blood in your ejaculate?

4. Have you had mumps?

5. Have you had an injury to your testicles?

6. Do you have any family members with cystic fibrosis?

7. Have you had a vasectomy?

8. Are you overweight (with a body-mass index greater than 25)?

9. Are you taking medication for a peptic ulcer?

10. Do you have diabetes?

Fertility Checklist #3: Getting Pregnant

Answer yes or no to the following questions:

1. Do you have intercourse less than twice a week?

2. Do you have a problem with intercourse?

3. Do you have pain with intercourse?

4. Does your partner have problems with erection?

5. Does your partner have premature ejaculation?

6. Have you had the pelvic inflammatory disease?

7. Have you had an operation on your abdomen (eg, a burst appendix)?

8. Do you have discharge?

9. Have you had an ectopic pregnancy?

Make sure you have intercourse at the right time (when you're ovulating)!

Fertility Checklist #4: Male and Female Fertility Problems

Answer yes or no to the following questions:

Do you have a good, healthy diet?

Do you smoke or drink excessive amounts of alcohol?

Have you been exposed to environmental hazards?

Have you tried to conceive before without success?

Are you under significant stress?

Do you spend a lot of time apart?

Do you drink excessive amounts of caffeine?

Do you take regular medications?

Do you use recreational drugs?

Do you have a history of a genetic problem?

If you answered 'yes' to one or more of these questions, you need to consult a doctor about why you can't get pregnant. Make an appointment with your family physician doctor, and consider talking to our fertility specialist.

A Few Point To Be Consider For The Infertility are Stress, OverWeight, Irregular Periods, Having PCOS/PCOD Issue, Low Sperm Count , Sexual Problem.

Hi lybrate-user, Not being able to conceive can sometimes be due to stress, emotional stress. If you are got medically and all reports are clear, that is a good sign. Pls ask your husband to have himself checked as well, that is also important. One needs to rule out his medical condition as well. Don't be depressed, you will have a child when you are ready. But for now, try and focus on keeping your body fit, eat well, nourish your body, exercise etc. Calm your mind. You will be a parent soon. Work on your relationship with your spouse, enjoy each other's companionship till you become parents. Good luck!

Two months time is not the time period for you to get worried. Sometimes it take more time to conceive naturally. However you can always take support medicines suggested by your doctor. Have patience and here are some tips which can help: Tip #1: The biggest secret to getting pregnant faster is knowing when you ovulate (release an egg from your ovary). Think of the egg as a bull's-eye and the sperm as arrows. One of the arrows has to hit the bull's-eye in order for you to get pregnant. If you notice that you have irregular periods over the course of several months, pinpointing ovulation could be difficult. Ask your doctor for advice. Tip #2: Once you know when your egg will be released from your ovary, you can plan to have sex during your most fertile days: from three days before ovulation through the day of ovulation. (Starting a little sooner can't hurt; some women have gotten pregnant from sex that happened six days before they ovulated.) If you have a regular cycle of 28 days, days 12 to 16 days are said to be a woman's most fertile period counting from the first day of cycle. Tip #3: Sperm have their best shot at fertilizing an egg when they're healthy, strong, and plentiful. Several things can help your partner get his sperm supply in fighting shape: - Cut back on alcohol (studies show that drinking daily can reduce testosterone levels and sperm counts and raise the number of abnormal sperm) - Quit tobacco and recreational drugs (these can cause poor sperm function) - Eat enough of certain key nutrients – like zinc, folic acid, calcium, and vitamins C and D – that help create plentiful, strong, wiggly sperm - Avoid hot tubs, saunas, and hot baths, since heat kills sperm.

Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is a common disorder among women of your age. Don’t worry, a lot of females knowingly or unknowingly suffer from this but it can be controlled to a great extent by following some medications, few lifestyle changes ,good diet and exercise. The main cause of PCOS is hormonal imbalance that may or may not be hereditary. Excessive levels of androgens that are male hormones, but females also produce is small quantity, can lead to problem with ovulation in females. Confirm to me if you are experiencing these symptoms - missed or irregular periods, excessive facial and body hair growth, cyst on the ovaries, sudden weight gain, pelvic pain, acne or mood swings? If yes, then you are most likely suffering from hormonal imbalance which needs proper attention. Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome is curable with the Homeopathic mode of treatment. Homeopathic treatment for polycystic ovarian syndrome is very safe and free from any side effect. Which Homeopathic medicine is required to extract the disease from its roots varies from case to case. Both the physical and mental spheres of the patient are thoroughly investigated while prescribing the Homeopathic medicine. The complete cure of PCOS is a time-consuming process and it cannot be expected in a few days. Along with the treatment a regular exercises, a healthy diet, weight control is also equally necessary. A good treatment can be started after proper diagnosis with the help of blood tests, pelvic examination and an ultrasound. In my many years of practice, I have successfully treated many patients for the same. No Periods/Missed Period If a woman does not get her period for a while, it might be because she is pregnant. Or in some cases, it might be that she has a medical condition that affects her reproductive organs. The exact cause can be known only after thorough history & physical examination by a gynecologist, so visit one nearest to you today to prevent complications. Absent or irregular periods may be caused due to pregnancy, PCOS (polycystic ovary syndrome), being too thin or having too little body fat, exercising too much, use of birth control pills etc. The most common tests that we do to find out the cause of no periods is urine pregnancy test, hormonal assay & ultrasound of the pelvis. Depending upon what is the cause for no periods, the treatment is decided You should opt Homoeopathic treatment for the permanent cure of the underlying cause of irregular periods. Possible treatment will include losing weight if you are overweight, medicines to help you get pregnant if you are having trouble getting pregnant on your own, reducing stress, easing up on exercise if you are exercising too much and other medicines to manage your hormones.

Along with this do not wear tight underwear donot pour hot water on testis eat plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables, healthy food eat almonds andwalnuts sleep well minimum for 6 hours do some physical activity every day, get your wife examined to find out she is not having any problem.
