Back pain may be due to many reasons. First correct your postures while walking & sitting. Be in complete rest for 1 week to get rid of pain then start with back strengthening exercises this will help to avoid future complications. If you get frequent throat infections it indicates that your immunity is low. Start taking mosambi juice with honey and gooseberry with honey. Cinnamon tea gargling will help.

Pregnancy back pain typically happens where the pelvis meets your spine, at the sacroiliac joint. There are few things you can do to treat low back pain or make it rarer and milder: 1-exercise. Regular exercise strengthens muscles and boosts flexibility. That can ease the stress on your spine. Safe exercises for most pregnant women include walking, swimming, and stationary cycling. Your doctor or physical therapist can recommend exercises to strengthen your back and abdomen. 2-heat and cold. Applying heat and cold to your back may help. If your doctor agrees, start by putting cold compresses (such as a bag of ice or frozen vegetables wrapped in a towel) on the painful area for up to 20 minutes several times a day. After two or three days, switch to heat -- put a heating pad or hot water bottle on the painful area. Be careful not to apply heat to your abdomen during pregnancy. 3-improve your posture. Slouching strains your spine. So using proper posture when working, sitting, or sleeping is a good move. For example, sleeping on your side with a pillow between the knees will take stress off your back. When sitting at a desk, place a rolled-up towel behind your back for support; rest your feet on a stack of books or stool and sit up straight, with your shoulders back. Wearing a support belt may also help. Few more tips: if you need to pick something up from the ground, use your legs to squat rather than bend over. Don't wear high-heeled shoes. Don't sleep on your back. Wear support hose. If your back pain persists, you may want to consult your doctor to see what else you might try. Be sure to consult your doctor before taking pain medications. Best wishes.

Hello lybrate-user, If you wish to feel energetic, less slee[py and perform well in the coming board exams ,follow the following tips: EXAM TIPS 1)Eat a healthy breakfast every morning. You should have a goal of eating breakfast every single morning, even if you're not feeling hungry or are running out of time. Eating breakfast will not only give you more energy in the mornings, but it has been shown to lower stress. You shouldn't eat anything too greasy or heavy; just eat enough to make yourself feel powered up. Examples are: A bowl of milk and cornflakes, one banana, 2 boiled eggs and a grilled vegetable sandwhich. 2)Eat every 3-4 hours. Even if you have an incredibly busy schedule, you can always take a minute to eat a snack, especially if you have one on hand. Instead of eating three big meals that leave you stuffed, have three medium-sized meals along with two snacks, one in between breakfast and lunch, and one between lunch and dinner, and see how much your energy levels improve. Examples are: Nuts like almond, raisins, walnuts. Flavoured yoghurt, bowl of fruit or a glass of fresh fruit juice, berries. 3)Avoid eating oily and heavy meals, rice as these foods need a lot of energy to get digested and leaves you sluggish. Instead eat steamed food like Idli, poha, upma, multigrain sandwich with juice. 4)Drink lots of water. It's important to stay hydrated throughout the day. Even mild dehydration can lead you to be fatigued, so wherever you go, make sure to bring a water bottle. Drink atleast 7-8 glasses water. 5)Limit your caffeine intake after noon. Though caffeine can really boost your energy levels during a few hours after you drink it, if you have caffeine after noon or even in the evening, it will disrupt your sleep. 6)Go outside. Take a break and go outside, breathe some fresh air, and let the sun hit your face. Spending just 20-30 minutes outside each day will have a dramatic impact on your energy level. 7)Follow the 50: 10 rule: Study for 50 min and give yourself a break for 10 min to assimilate what you have read. Also take a power nap immediately after lunch as you feel most drowsy then 8)Smell lavender. Have a lavender plant or lavender lotion on hand so you can smell it in moments of need or when stressed out. It's been known to help students perform better on tests, and it has the power to make you more energetic throughout the day. 9).Destress: Listen to music, take a 15 min short refreshing walk in the garden nearby, splash cold water on your face.

Dear Lybrate User, your grandfather has osteoarthritis.. For that.. It is considered as Vayu increased in the body and ultimately arthritis development due to lack of synovial fluid in the knee joint. So Avoid fast food junk food oily food spicy food heavy food to digest etc.. Drink more water.. Eat more and more green leafy vegetables.. Hello. Sorry to hear this. Ask her to meet a physiotherapist who will suggest back and core strengthening exercises for her. She should not sit continuously for more than 30 min and should get up and move around for 1 min after every 30 min. Regards.

I am 26 year old female. I fell on the stairs 3 weeks ago and have hurt my back on right side. The pain is not much, but it has not vanished ever since. It is subsiding gradually, however, if I do any strenuous activity like washing clothes, the pain reoccurs. Please advise.

There are many reasons for pain in lower back region, so it can be due to a bony issue or a soft tissue injury at the back region. Normally even soft tissue injuries will take around 3 weeks to heal properly, but you can take gentle anti inflammatory medication like tab etoshine or tab paracetamol during this time. Also you can start with physical therapy, avoid lifting any heavy weight or lifting any heavy object especially when you get up in mornings. Your symptoms suggest plantar fascitis. Only treatment is rest and pain killers. Take tablet pirox dt twice daily, never empty stomach, till you have some pain relief. It may take 2 -6 months to heal. Get an x ray done to rule out any bony abnormality.

It shows that your bone are weak and you are lacking physical strength A number of factors can affect bone health. For example: •The amount of calcium in your diet. A diet low in calcium contributes to diminished bone density, early bone loss and an increased risk of fractures. •Physical activity---. People who are physically inactive have a higher risk of osteoporosis than do their more-active counterparts.----- •Tobacco and alcohol use. Research suggests that tobacco use contributes to weak bones. Similarly, regularly having more than two alcoholic drinks a day increases the risk of osteoporosis, possibly because alcohol can interfere with the body's ability to absorb calcium.---- •Size and age.--- You're at greater risk of osteoporosis. As you're having less weight as compared to your height (with a body mass index of 19 or less) because you may have less bone mass to draw from as you age.
