High Blood Pressure - Control it by Eating Right

Health experts do believe and are promoting the same nowadays, that eating right is the best step to control high blood pressure other than regular medications. Who knows, if you are strong enough to control your lifestyle and eating habits, you may not need a long term medication after some time. The blood pressure may lower down naturally with improving health and weight.

Factors that elevate blood pressure in the body.

Before suggesting the right eatables for lowering the blood pressure, let’s look at the conditions which actually increase the blood pressure. They are:

  1. A coronary heart disease
  2. Stress
  3. Anxiety
  4. Work pressure or family and relationship troubles
  5. Obesity
  6. Cholesterol
  7. Other medical conditions like diabetes, depression, etc.
  8. Pregnancy

Each one has a toll on the body with resultant High Blood Pressure. With eating right you may gain a lot of control on the body.

Eating Right

Here are some quick tips on eating right:

  1. Avoid excess salt intake. The more salt you take, the more sodium your body gets, and as a result BP elevates. When you eat readymade snacks, packaged foods and drinks with preservatives, check the nutritional information. Most of them contain high sodium. You may stop the intake of such foods or restrict them completely.

  2. Avoid oily and junk food. Avoid food with unsaturated or trans fats. These kinds of foods straightaway add to the fat deposits of the body, and make you obese or more obese. In such cases, the obesity and increased weight build a pressure on the heart to pump more, thus elevating blood pressure.

  3. Avoid excess caffeine. Caffeine comes in the body through coffee, tea, and aerated drinks. These beverages when restricted to only 1-2 intakes per day may help you lower the BP.

  4. Quit smoking, as this puts excess pressure on the lungs to breathe and thus the heart to pump.

  5. Reduce alcohol intake: Avoid alcohol intake in excess amounts. Drinking more alcohol or frequent drinking can elevate blood pressure.

Besides there are some good foods that can always help to lower or control BP. They are:

  1. Plain, fat-free yogurt or Greek yogurt
  2. White beans
  3. Pork tenderloins
  4. Small fishes like Tilapia
  5. Bananas
  6. Oats
  7. Broccoli
  8. Bell Peppers

These food items are designed by nature to reduce blood pressure or normalize blood pressure in the body. Hence, if you are trying heart and soul to eat right, then try these in your daily food to see positive results. Besides, exercising and reducing weight are the two other important steps to take, which complement the healthy diet and eating habits to lower the blood pressure with or without medication. If you wish to discuss about any specific problem, you can consult a cardiologist.

Are you colouring of your hair. If so stop it. Apply raw amla paste in your hair thrice in a week for two hours. Also apply curry leave dried paste in your hair twice in a week. Do massage of wlmond oil with your fingure tips twice in a week. Wash your hair with mild shampoo. Do not change shampoo again and again.

There was a slightly increased risk of sexual side effects in patients taking finasteride for male pattern baldness, including decreased libido, erectile dysfunction and ejaculation disorders, The crux in using a finasteride therapy to avoid sexual dysfunction is to opt for a drug free interval for a period of 10-15 days after a regular use for 3 months, this allows testosterone to replenish and avoid any sexual dysfunctioning side effects. There is a delicate balance which needs to be maintained.

backache may be due to mentally stressful job,sedentary lifestyle,age - older adults are more susceptible than young adults ,anxiety,depression,obesity or over weight,strenuous physical exercise (especially if not done properly),strenuous physical work.due to strain and stress of muscles.lack of proper nutrition intake. get MRI or CT scans of whole back to know about exact cause. you can prevent backache by Exercise - regular exercise helps build strength as well as keeping your body weight down. aerobic activities are best; activities that do not strain or jerk the back. Before starting any exercise program, talk to a health care professional. Core-strengthening exercises; exercises that work the abdominal and back muscles, help strengthen muscles which protect your back. Flexibility - exercises aimed at improving flexibility in your hips and upper legs may help too. Smoking - a significantly higher percentage of smokers have back pain incidences compared to non-smokers of the same age, height and weight. Body weight - try for maintain weight perfect.. Posture when standing - make sure you have a neutral pelvic position. Stand upright, head facing forward, back straight, and balance your weight evenly on both feet - keep your legs straight.

Normally, overweight people eat higher carbs or fat in the diet with heavy dinner. Try eating a balanced diet with the right the mix of proteins and carbs with an healthy b/f, lunch, and evening snack and carb free dinners. 45-60 min of exercise which includes planks, squats, crunches and some yoga asanas like suryanamaskar will help in toning and losing weight around belly and thighs. Try this out, if this does not help, then would request you to book monthly packages for proper guidance and healthy diets customized as per your logistics and schedule, which does not involve starvation and has no muscle loss.

1. Start cardiovascular exercises like running, jogging, cycling etc. 2. Avoid carbohydrates and fats. 3. Avoid processed and junk foods. 4. Start exercising. Both body weight exercises like push ups, pull ups, squats and weight training in the gym is helpful. 5. Stay hydrated. 6. Have a light dinner. 7. Evening walk is always recommended. 8. Green veggies complete your nutrient requirements. 9. Consume all types of protein both from veg and non veg sources. 10. Sleep well.

Taking heavy meal will not help but take small meal at regular intervals of 2-3 hrs. take enough proteins and carbs in your diet. avoid outside food or junk.

Hi, Pregnancy can be checked by doing an urine test with the help of the test kits available in the market. Do the urine test according to the instructions given on the test kit. Your periods is already delayed by 15 days. Therefore the urine test can be done immediately. If you get double line on the test kit, then the pregnancy is confirmed.

White rice being a high glycemic index food increases blood sugar rapidly, may create problem maintaining normal blood sugar. Not recommended for diabetic person ideally. Try eating food with low glycemic index below 50-60, small n frequent meals. U can search in net for low gi index food.

Are there any long-term effects associated with taking ADHD (attention deficit hyperactivity disorder) medications? If so, what are they and what medications are implicated? Use of stimulant decreases the symptoms to a much good effect and if we don't give stimulant medication there will be more of conduct disorder and progress in disease and for side effects we have to monitor the person and advice them accordingly and enlarged uterus can cause bladder prolapse as its an anatomical variation.

There is no specific medication for treatment of a dengue infection. -Use analgesics with acetaminophen (crocin or dolo -650 mg) and avoid those containing ibuprofen, naproxen, aspirin or aspirin containing drugs. -Take rest, drink plenty of fluids like coconut water, lime water etc.to prevent dehydration. -Avoid visiting heavily populated residential areas, if possible. -Use mosquito repellents/mosquito nets when indoors. -When outdoors, wear long-sleeved shirts and long pants tucked into socks.
