Dear, in case of fever * take full rest & do not do any work at all. *drink only luke warm water all the day. * cover your whole body so that it cause sweating and lower down fever fast. *do not take any antibiotic without consulting physician. * take 5 leaves of tulsi and small piece of ginger. Crush them & boil in a glass of waterfor 2-3 minutes. Drink it twice a day to treat the fever. * if the fever do not lower down after taking crocin, then put the cloth/ bandage soaked in tap water and put on forehead and change it after 2-3 minutes. Do that until the temprature lower down. Do not use ice cold water for this. *eat only light and easy digested food only. Avoid fried foods, meat, eggs, cheese. *if the fever do not lower down even after 3 days, then go to nearest hospital and test the blood for malaria, typhoid, dengue and viral fever only under the guidance of doctor. Avoid from sudden change in temperature. Do not stay in air condition, wear full sleeve clothes and cover your body on rest.

first of all you should follow some basic thing 1.avoid=hot and cold at time 2.less the sugar as much as possible if you want to eat sweet take juggery which is black 3.dont drink water after meal drink at the time of meal sip by sip up to 150 ml 4.avoid late night sleep 5.alovera juice 4tsp+ 1 tsp honey after dinner 6.amal juice 4tsp +2 tsp sugar + 2tsp honey empty stomch in the morning

u are only 19 years old. this may be due to lack of calcium.. take some calcium supplement. avoid badi vegetables like arbi, kathal, peas and other like rice, urad dal, matar, rajma , chole..etc..

Hello lybrate user back pain have several causes can be due to back, hip joint muscle weakness, improper posture while working, standing, sitting, walking, etc. A major factor affecting the generation is the sedentary life style or less physical workout like regular walking, cycling, running etc. Activities are not a part of routine. Diet consists of more &more junk food, less fruits or fresh juice leads to weight gain. Increased body weight puts pressure on spine, extra pressure and improper posture unable to cope with this increased load results back pain. Smooth back exercises can recover your muscle weakness and regular ten days physiotherapy treatment will be more helpful to reduce pain and stiffness.

As your mother feel pain in knees, follow these usefultips for pain relief: * first check out bone mineral density (bmd). In case of low bmd, your calcium level in body are low. So take take calcium rich diet daily. Take a glass (300 ml) of full cream milk daily or 100 gm of cheese or 1-2 eggs regularly. * give a gentle oil massage to knees regularly and wrap your knees with cloth dipped in hot water for atleast 10-15 minutes. * wear knee cap or wrap crape bandage during walk for knee support. * sit atleast for 5-8 minutes in sunlight in morning or evening for vitamind. *avoid heal shoe and wear only flat shoes for balanced load on knees. * check out your blood sugar level and hemoglobin level in every 6 months. * if you have any history of rheumatoid arthritis in family then checkout your ra factor. * take guggalu tablets if himalaya one tablet daily for atleast 3 months. * take a piece of garlic, crush it and boil it a glass of milk and drink daily for fast pain relief.

Dear lybrate-user diabetes is not cureable but can be easily controlled. Diet management and exercise are corner stones if treatment followed by oral drugs and insulin alone or in combination with oral drugs. You have. Mentioned the dtugs and dose being taken. If you have reduced your weight by diet and exercise and the dose being taken was very small only in that case you can reduce or stop medicines under physicians supervision. Ideally you should never stop medicines unless adviced. In few days your sugar will rise and consult your physician.

Diabetes can be controlled/managed by a proper regulated diet and exercise. Avoid 3 big meals. Instead take small mini meals every 2/3 hours. Take green vegetables/salad with every minimeal. Eat whole grain food/grains like ragi, wheat, jowar instead of refined grains like maida/ sooji/ white bread etc. Reduce foods with high GI Index like potato, white rice, banana, mango. Avoid all forms of simple sugars like Colas, juices, sweets, cakes, biscuits, pizzas, noodles etc. Eat fruits  with low/medium GI index like apple, guava, mosambi, orange.  .Eat proteins like dals, sprouts, (NV) egg, chicken etc with every minimeal. Drink lot of water. One glass every hour. Do at least 30-45 mins of exercise everyday. Walk for 10 mins after every meal. These steps can help reduce sugar levels.

I am a 34 year male. Since I was 23 old , I started developing gray hair and by now almost all my hair has grown grey and now my body hair is also started turning white (chest and pubic hair ). The pain in the last teeth xould be because of following reasons 1. Erupting third molar 2. Infection around the partially erupted/stuck tooth 3. Decay in the tooth 4. Pressure from impacted tooth on the adjacent tooth. Either the gums around tooth needs to be cut or the tooth needs to be removed.

For delaying the ageing process & staying fit in old age, one needs to maintain a healthy diet & lifestyle. Here are some tips: 1. Have 3 litres water daily 2. Have a balanced diet comprising of whole grains, whole legumes (sprouts/soyabean), vegetables, fruits, low fat dairy, lean meat, egg, nuts, oilseeds 3. Have small frequent meals instead of 2-3 main meals only 4. Stay active all the time. Exercise daily for an hr. Take stairs instead of lift/ escalator. Walk/cycle instead of taking transport. Avoid sitting continuously for an hr at a stretch 5. Avoid alcohol & tobacco, junk, fried, processed, sugary foods, cold drinks. 6. Eat out less frequently. Prefer freshly prepared homemade foods. 7. Kitchen gardening/ organic foods are a better option

I started going to gym from 4th April. From that day I have pain in my back and shoulders. What should I do?

Try and slowly increase the intensity of your workouts, ask your gym trainer to make you do a longer warm-up before you commence on the exercises. Remember to take lots of fluids like water or even energy drinks to avoid dehydration and also maintain your supply of glucose to burn out in the gym and also help prevent cramping up. If you are having severe pain niw, I would advise you to avoid going to the gym for 4-5 days and slowly resume while doing all of the above. Hope this helps.

1.You may be having anxiety or stress. Avoid stress. 2.You need 7-8 hours of sound sleep to remain healthy. 3.Go for regular exercise, Take part in games and sports, 4.Do yoga, meditation and deep breathing exercise like pranayama to calm your mind, control your emotion, relieve anxiety and improve concentration. 5.Adhere to a specific sleep time and regular schedule 6.Take light dinner. 7.Avoid taking tea/coffee at bed time.8. Don’t go to sleep immediately after dinner.Take a small walk after dinner and if possible take hot water bath before sleep. Read a light magazine or interesting book before going to bed 9. Avoid late night. 10.Don’t sleep in day time 11.Don’t take sleeping pill 12. If no relief consult doctor

Hi, take cap, nasollerin 1-1-1 after food for 2-3 days. Avoid cold and refrigerated food. Drink boiled and cooled water. Take steam inhalation by adding 1 or 2 drops of eucalyptus oil to boiling water. Wear warm clothing. Avoid intake of sweets and oil fried food. Take koflet cough syrup 2 tsf 3 times a day for about a week.

Acid returning to oesophagus due to reverse motility is the cause of your problem (Gastro Oesophagial Reflux Disorder, GORD or GERD). It may be an artificially produced problem. Drugs like Pantaprazole or Rabeprazole inhibit acid secretion in the stomach. The deficiency of acid, (Not Hyperacidity) causes food to remain unhydrolyzed in the stomach that prevents action of Pepsin because Pepsinogen is not changed into Pepsin properly due to inhibition of Acid secretion. Result ? Food stays longer in stomach with Pylorus closed for longer durations. The gastric motility to churn the food inside cannot push it forward due to closed pylorus and the upper end not so tight as pylorus may allow return of acidified (to some extent) in the esophagus which causes inflammation or swelling in it called esophagitis, manifesting as heartburn. Stop the load of proton pump inhibitor drugs like Pantaprazole or its likes and eat simple normal food. It will get hydrolyzed properly and acted upon by pepsin to pass rapidly through stomach saving you from this mess of GERD.
