Hi, I am having this back ache for sometimes and also whenever I wake up in the morning my left foot pains a bit. This pain persists for some time and then it doesnt pain any more for the rest of the day. I work in a multinational company and need to sit on chairs for long hours. I thought that might be the reason. Is there any exercise that can help me out.

Hi, prolonged sitting and overweight could be cause of your back pain. These factors along with a bad posture lead to severe back pain which may go up to your legs. Check if you have any tingling or numbness in your feet. Sit erect whenever possible. Keep a pillow between your back and chair. If you use a computer or laptop make sure to keep the screen at your eye level. Avoid bending forwards. Look for a physiotherapist opinion who will help you with your posture correction and core exercises to prevent any problems.

Burning sensation in knees, and becomes stiff while standing within 5 min, and also problems at toes.
Quadriceps exercises- lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core strengthening exercise- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. Repeat 10 times, twice a day.

Common causes of neck pain are- Injuries and inflammation. Take over the counter available painkiller if intolerable pain. Hot fomentation may help in cases of spasms. Apply volini ointment locally. Maintain correct sitting postureand avoid lifting heavy weight. Hope this helps u

Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. SPRING BEDS, FOLDING BEDS OR THICK MATRESS ARE HARMFUL Use no pillow under the head. DO HOT FOMANTATION. Paracetamol 250mg OD & SOS x 5days. Caldikind plus 1tab OD x10. Do neck, back & general exercises. It may have to be further investigated. You will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take. If it does not give relief in 4-5days, contact me again.. Do not ignore .It could be beginning of a serious problem.

It's common, nothing to worry, just dip a towel in hot water and apply on your calf muscles, you can use some volini spray also. Always cool down and do stretches at last to relax your muscles and bring back the blood flow to normal.

1. Take bland diet, avoid oily, spicy, fried and junk food, 2. Drink plenty of water 3. Take one tablet of meftal spas ds as and when required after food up to a maximum of three tablets daily 4. Take one tablet of rantac150 mg twice daily before food.

I have achy and tired feet .i feel burning pain in bottom of my feet specially in ball of feet and bottom of heel. I am not able to stand on my feet for long time .my feet is also mild flat. By profession I am an engineer so mostly I have to do standing job. So what is treatment for this problem. Is customize insole can improve my feet. I suggest you follow the below for your condition: take mag phos 6x - thrice daily for next 2 weeks and update. Also do x-ray of the affected area. Heat and ice packs. Heat and/or cold therapy helps relieve most types of low back pain by reducing inflammation. Often patients use ice, but some prefer heat. Both may be used alternately.

Tips to get rid of knee pain

Ingredients:

Honey - 1 part
Warm water - 2 parts
Cinnamon powder - 1 teaspoon
Method:

Mix the above to a smooth mixture.
Apply it over the knees and the pain will fade off within minutes.

Hi thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. I am Dr. Akshay from fortis hospital, new delhi. You have mentioned your mri findings which is ok but actually it does not correspond to your thigh weakness because thigh nerves are at a higher level. In order to answer your question in a better manner, may I advise you to get: 1) a detailed neurological (motor, sensory, deep tendon reflexes) charting done by a trained physical therapist 2) your mri images and reports in an attachment also please tell me duration of your back pain and mode of onset. I would also like to ask you if it is associated with any leg pain or any other neurological symptoms like numbness, paraesthesias (electrical shock like abnormal sensations) or any weakness in limbs. Please also tell me about any associated symptoms like fever, weight loss etc. What medications you generally take and what has been your treatment history till now for existing problem. Do not hesitate to contact me if you need any further assistance.

Hello, 1.You can Apply Volini gel 1% local application twice a day for 3-5 days 2. Hot fomentation twice a day for 3 days I am giving to some common reasons for LEG PAIN 1. generalized weakness 2. Anaemia 3. physical exertion and any Trauma 4. lack of protein in Diet 5. any infection present on leg or foot 6. muscle weakness 7 abrupt start/ stop of physical exercise 8. Vit D and Calcium Deficiency Kindly consult physician for further management
