I am 45yrs old I have multiple joint pains and muscle pain for last six months what shoud I do.

Joint & muscle pains are quite common ailment. Do not worry, rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with soft bedding on it. Spring beds, folding beds or thick matress are harmful use no pillow under the head. Any way take ibuprofen 200mg od & sos x 5days you will need other supportive medicines also. Take multivitamins & other antioxidants along with. Do back (spine) exercises make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take do reply back for private consultation and detailed treatment plan. Don? t ignore.

On 01/04/2014 I had faced an accident which lead me right leg calcaneal fracture, total five nos of hairline type fracture. After 1.5 months of plaster & another 1 month of bed rest I started my normal life. But still now facing problem with pain, sometimes it becomes unbearable. Hot water compression giving too much relief but after few hours it is again as it is. Is there any other kind of home remedy available?

Calcaneum is weight bearing joint so any injury of this joint take long time to recover Are you taking calcium supplement? and after treatment X ray was done? 1. You can apply volini gel 1% local application twice a day for 3-5 days 2. You can do massage with olive/ castor oil before sleeping 3. Hot fomentation twice a day for 3 days 4. Avoid wearing tight and hard sole foot wears Consult privately for further management

I have all tmj related problems including neck pain and upper back pain. Sometimes I feel difficulty in breathing and when shake my head towards back side I listen a clicking sound from my right side of jaw and from my neck. Now I think this all problem is due to my bad posture because whenever I do postural correction exercises I feel all the symptoms of tmj are being vanished. What do you think about this matter and what should I do? Please help me.

Apply Hot Fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front. Postural Correction- Sit Tall, Walk Tall. Extension Exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times. Bhujang Asana -- Lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily. Core Strengthening Exercises- Straight Leg Raised With Toes Turned Outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day.

Hi thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. I am Dr. Akshay from fortis hospital, new delhi. You are very young to actually have persistent back pains. If you have localized back pain with no other symptoms like radiating leg pain, neurological symptoms like numbness, weakness, paresthesias etc, then you can start with following recommendations for initial period of 2-3 weeks: - to maintain proper posture of your back while working and sleeping - if pain is more then you can take a short course of an anti-inflammatory medication like tab etoshine or paracetamol or one which suits you - physical therapy initially under supervision of a trained physiotherapist and then to continue at home - adequate calcium & vitamin d intake if levels are low in body - ice packs can applied if your pain is acute, then hot fomentation can be done at home - analgesic spray for local application can be used and is easily available. - avoid lifting heavyweight/ acute forward bending in mornings etc we will observe you for next 2-3 weeks how you respond to this conservative management protocol. If you are not feeling better, then we will have to get some investigations like, dynamic x rays of lower back and few blood tests for evaluation. Core strengthening exercises- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Back stretching- lie flat, pull one of the knee forward to chest, hold for 3 seconds, then bring the other knee forward to the chest and again hold for 3 seconds. Then pull both knees towards the chest and hold for 3 seconds. Repeat 10 times each exercise twice a day.

I am 27 Year old male, my hands and legs sleep automatically, Specially when I sit on ground with folded legs then legs sleep after 15 minutes, I feel like I have no legs. Same with hands when it is pressed for while then I won't be able to use my fingers and feel pain What is happening to me?

what is the severity of pain? is the pain continous or intermittent? is it pulsating? since pain is a complex phenomenon, there are many treatment options medications, therapies, and mind-body techniques. Hi All My mom met an accident with head injury Right FTP SDH and midline shift done the surgery on the same day carinoectomy on 6/11/2016 but still she is semi unconscious there have body movements but not yet open her eyes removed ventilator before 30 hrs may I know when she can open her eyes and how long it will take to become normal here I attached recent CT scan.

However I suggest keep in touch with your Doctor for not letting her to slip into Coma. If so then it can take weeks/months to come back from Coma. Dear friend first you stop using high pillow do neck exercises daily take tab hifenac th 10 1 1 tab pantop 5 1 tab neurobion forte 15 1 1 1 please reconsult on lybrate to seek advice to avoid it's recurrence after 5days.
