I am 28 years old girl & I have continuous hair fall issue. What should I do to stop it?

Vaidya Visharad
Ayurveda, Narnaul
It may be tempting to eat fast food, but greasy foods are among the worst culprits for hair loss. If you have a craving for a burger and fries, your best bet is to cook the burger yourself and dice, season and bake some potato wedges (leaving the skins on) to go along with it. Try to limit your intake of excessively cold, spicy and sugary foods as well. These can tax your body, and when your body?s fighting something unhealthy, it?s not functioning at its peak level.

Eating Right

'when the diet is wrong medicine is of no use. When diet is correct medicine is of no need'
Taking heavy meals in short durations without earlier meals properly digested produces toxins.
Kala viruddha (time against): intake of cold and dry substances in winter, pungent and hot substances in summer.
The combination of fruit salad, milk and banana should be avoided.
Using yogurt with milk, fish with milk, achar (pickle) with milk, honey with ghee (butter) are some virudha ahara (incompetent food) if taken together, they produce a lot of toxins in our body.
Drinking buttermilk is excellent as it is easily digestible, kindles hunger, instigates vata and kapha and cures dropsy, haemorrhoids, enlargement of the abdomen, abdominal tumour, duodenal diseases, dysuria, enlargement of spleen, loss of appetite, and anaemia.

At your age weak eyesight /squint /Stress/ acidity / migraine are some common causes of headache. It is advised to go for Eye check up to diagnose eye problem if any. Do some relaxing activity to reduce stress level . But if headache persist for longer time/ very severe/ associated with other symptoms like fever, nausea, vomiting, chakker etc. then investigation may be needed.

1) Kegel Exercises These are also known as pelvic floor exercises. They target the pelvic floor muscles to prevent weakening. These exercises are effective at treating loosening around the genitals but only when done on a regular basis. The advantage is that the exercises can easily be done in the convenience of one’s home, allowing one to enjoy the privacy. This simple herb is useful for many reasons. Not only does it strengthen the muscles around the vagina, but it also eliminates the irritation experienced due to dryness. Furthermore, Aloe Vera also provides fast relief from any other genital related issues that one may be experiencing. 3) Secret Ceres This is an organic herbal stick that is highly potent and serves to cleanse and tighten the private parts internally. Three studies by Natural Body Care confirm the stick’s gynecological benefits when used regularly. Among its many advantages is its ability to increase libido and sensation, rejuvenate a dry vagina, eliminate vaginal odor and re-balance the pH levels of the vagina. 4) Gooseberries These berries help restore the vagina’s elasticity and suppleness within a short period. All you have to do is boil some in water and store the solution. Proceed to apply the solution to your private parts when taking a bath. 5) Witch Hazel This herb also helps tighten the vaginal muscles. You just need to grind the herb into powder form and use it to wash the genitals once a week consistently. 6) Other forms of exercises You may also consider exploring other forms of exercises that target the pelvic muscles. Such include yoga and pilates that tighten the pelvic muscles by strengthening one’s core. RELATED ARTICLE: What Is Vaginal Detox? 7) Healthy Diet The muscles in the body, overall, require food for proper growth and repair. A healthy diet complete with organic animal protein, fruits and vegetables, and whole grain carbohydrates will go a long way to helping you tighten your muscles. It is not difficult to keep your lady parts in shape. These simple remedies will work wonders for you if you remain consistent. PREVIOUS.

Hi, I am 34 years male. I am having sexual issues - less interest in activity, less hard erections since last few months. Last year I had thyroiditis after which I had really high anxiety which is gradually settling down. Please suggest a remedy to be calm and become sexually fine.

MBBS, DNB (General Medicine)
Endocrinologist, Delhi
The real reason behind any loss of libido (libido means sexual drive) is the stress associated with daily tasking of life. Humans unlike other species of animal kingdom - like to have sex not just for reproduction but for pleasure as well. Pleasure is a proponent of leisure. Our brain centres are wired to present us the mood appropriate activities. When we are unhappy it makes us indulge in unhappy things- sitting alone, with darkness around, not talking to any one - are all unhappy things we do. Similarly, sex qualifies for being a happy task. If you are unhappy, worrisome inside- you can't be happy to have sex. First, you need to find time, unwind yourself, be easy, be free- then the things would automatically turn out well! sex is for happiness- not performance.

I am 16 male I am very thin and short but I want to tall and strong now what should I do?

Bachelor of Naturopathy & Yogic Sciences (BNYS), MSc nutrition
Dietitian/Nutritionist, Bangalore
Healthy weight gain means more increase in muscles and to a certain extent fat in order to support those muscles. Just eating anything or high calorie foods will result in only fat gain which will not give you a proper body shape and will also be detrimental later in life. A diet high in protein and adequate carbohydrate in necessary.

Dear Lybrate user. I can understand. A NIGHT FALL / nocturnal emission / wet dream or involuntary leakage is an involuntary ejaculation of semen that occurs during sleep or along with urine while urination. Studies show that approximately 83% of men experience a nocturnal emission or leakage at some point in their lives. There is nothing wrong with a person if he or she experiences a nocturnal orgasm or nocturnal emission or leakage, as they are normal and healthy experiences. If you have experienced a wet dream, you should not feel ashamed. There is no way to prevent nocturnal orgasms or emissions from happening. Sage tea is the best home remedy which is used to treat conditions such as nightfall. If you drink at least two cups in a day, the chances of getting wet dreams will reduce too. Take fenugreek with honey on a regular basis. Exercise regularly and practice yoga and meditation to keep calm and relaxed. I suggest online sex counseling. Take care.

Hi I am mbbhavsar I am suffering form colostol problem Can give some tips to reduce cholesterol. And also give some daily exercise.

MBBS
General Physician, Faridabad
One serving of meat or fish is about what fits in the palm of your hand. One serving of fresh fruit is about the size of your fist. Load your plate with fruits and vegetables -- five to nine servings a day -- to help lower LDL "bad" cholesterol. Antioxidants in these foods may provide the benefit. Or it may be that when we eat more fruits and veggies, we eat less fatty foods. Either way, you'll also help lower blood pressure and maintain a healthy weight. Foods enriched with plant sterols, such as some margarine spreads, yogurts, and other foods, can also help lower LDL cholesterol. Need a snack? A handful of nuts is a tasty treat that helps in lowering cholesterol. Nuts are high in monounsaturated fat, which lowers LDL "bad" cholesterol while leaving HDL "good" cholesterol intact. We all need a little fat in our diet -- about 25% to 35% of our daily calories. But the type of fat matters. Unsaturated fats -- like those found in canola, olive, and safflower oils -- help lower LDL "bad" cholesterol levels and may help raise HDL "good" cholesterol. You need carbohydrates for energy, but some do your body more good than others. Beans, and whole grains such as brown rice, quinoa, and whole wheat, have more fiber and raise sugar levels less. These help lower cholesterol and keep you feeling full longe Aerobic exercise ("cardio") such as brisk walking lowers risk of stroke and heart disease, helps you lose weight, and keeps bones strong. If you're just starting out, try a 10-minute walk and gradually build up from there.
