More oiliness of skin means over activation of skin situated oil glands, this is due to hormonal imbalance in general and changes in diet, lack of exercise, etc. Requires to weep out oiliness and balancing hormonal function local and internal.

I am 27 years old married girl. I have constipation problem. I have so much pimples on my face. I have have hair fall problem also.

To ease your constipation and help clear your skin, your diet must include fresh fruits and a full serving of salads at every meal: cucumber, tomato, carrot, radish, onion slices or spring onion, raw cauliflower, cabbage leaf, etc. All this is essential to give you a balanced nutrient boost. Cut out any junk food and aerated drinks totally. Generally foods that come out of a packet, or can, or bottle shud be avoided. Exercise to increase circulation:- 2 mins of hard exercise then 1 min rest - do this four times a day. You can either do it all in one go or split it into sessions through the day. In total it is only 12 mins a day so should not be a big issue. A very useful exercise is to jump in one place simulating skipping. Build up your time to 2 mins. Of jumping. In conclusion, live and eat healthy and you will develop energy, a glowing skin and a healthy'go' in life -regardless of age. You will need vitamins, minerals and remedies which I will send on request.

Bhujang Asana – Lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily.

Hello- their is no relation between masturbation and melanin production. Darkening of skin might be due to excess of sun exposure, continuous exposure of chlorinated water to the skin, late night schedule or less intake of dairy products.

1. Take one tablet of crocin advance as and when required after food up to a maximum of 3 tablets daily, 2. Drink plenty of water 3. Take adequate rest 4. Have adequate sound sleep in the night for 7-8 hours if you have recurrent attack of headache1. It could be a tension headache due to anxiety/stress, depression inadequate sleep, low bp/high bp, migraine, prolonged use of cell phone/computer, chronic anaemia, refractive error, chronic sinusitis, organic brain lesion 2. Avoid stress, physical and mental exertion, have adequate sound sleep for 7-8 hours daily in the night 3. Go for regular exercise 4. Practice yoga, meditation and deep breathing exercise to calm your mind, control your emotion and relieve stress 5. Check for refractive error, sinusitis hemoglobin, bp 6. Avoid prolonged use of cell phone/computer 7. Consult neurologist to rule out other causes of headache, if required take a ct scan of head to exclude any brain lesion 8. If it is migraine you have to take migraine prophylactic drug after consulting neurologist.

Take protein rich food ---eggs, milk products, seeds, pulses, mutter, soya bean. Cereals, potatoes, sweet potatoes, plantains etc. Can be useful for gaining weight. Also take vegetables, greens and fruits. Have vigorous physical exercise to improve digestion and absorption of food as well as blood circulation. Eat at regular intervals. Homoeopathic treatment will be beneficial to you.

Home remedies for arthritis: (body stiffness) Internal remedies: Dashamula Kashayam – Decoction of 10 roots relieves pain, swelling and stiffness. The coarse powder of Dashamula is readily available in the Ayurveda herbal stores or pharmacies. 10 grams of the coarse powder is boiled with 160 ml of water until 40 ml remains. The filtrate is taken hot. It is given 2-3 times in a day before food. Devadaru Kashayam – Roots and bark of Devadaru (Cedrus deodara), 10 grams is boiled with 160 ml of water until ¼ of it remains (40 ml). The filtrate is taken hot, 2-3 times a day half an hour before food. Erandamula Kashayam – Decoction of roots of castor plant is highly effective in osteoarthritis. It is prepared in the same way as mentioned in Dashamula Kashayam and taken in the same dose. Castor oil – Edible castor oil in the dose of 10-25 ml (on the recommendation of Ayurvedic doctor) can be taken at bed time mixed with hot milk or with decoction of roots of castor plant. Sesame – Take 1 tsp black sesame seeds and crush them. Dip them in 100 ml of warm water and allow overnight. Mix them well and consume it first thing in the morning. Cinnamon – Mix 1tsp cinnamon powder in 1 tsp honey. Take it on empty stomach every morning. Asthishrunkala (Cissus quadrangularis) – Medicated ghee prepare with this drug is taken orally in doses of 10grams mixed in hot milk early in the morning. The juice of the plant can be given in 10 ml dose with ghee in equal quantity. Macerated stem of the fresh plant is used for application over painful parts Babul: Bark powder or seed powder of Babul is given in 3-5 grams dose with 1 spoon honey twice daily, half an hour after food Lashunadi Kalka: Paste of equal parts of Garlic (paste of 2 cloves), Lac (2 grams approximately), honey (1 spoon) and sugar (1 spoon) is given mixed in ghee (1 spoon) Arjuna twak churna: Powder of bark of Terminalia arjuna (3-5 grams) is given along with a cup of milk. External remedies for osteo arthritis: Apply required amounts of lukewarm castor oil or sesame oil on the afflicted joint and rub gently in clockwise direction for 10-15 minutes. Take a hot water bath after 1 hour. Alternately salt water fomentation (heat with cloth dipped in salt water) or fomentation with heated salt tied in a cloth relieves pain and swelling. Add 5-10 grams of camphor to 1 cup of mustard oil. Heat the oil until camphor dissolves completely. Gently massage the joints with lukewarm oil. This reduces pain and inflammation and stiffness. It enhances blood supply to the joints. Shatadhauta Ghrita: Ghee processed (washed) with medicinal herbs (their decoctions) for 100 times is mixed with Shali pishti (rice flour) and applied over the painful joints osteo arthritis of spine - back Osteoarthritis – Disease review, Modern perspective Causes and Risk Factors – The primary cause of OA is damage from mechanical stress with insufficient self repair by the joints. Sources of this stress are as mentioned below: Misalignments of bones caused by congenital or pathogenic causes Mechanical injury Excess body weight Loss of strength in the muscles supporting a joint Impairment of peripheral nerves leading to sudden or uncoordinated movements Exercise (including running in the absence of injury) and cracking the knuckles have not been found to be risk factors Primary risk factors: Hereditary basis – OA is found to have a greater prevalence among siblings and identical twins Genetic factors – contributes towards variation in susceptibility towards OA Sex – Women are more likely to develop OA Age – Older age increases the OA Evolution of human ancestors into bipeds led to changes in pelvis, hip joint and spine which led to increased risk of OA History of previous joint injury and obesity (especially wrt knees) is a risk factor for OA. Correlation with obesity has been observed for other non-weight bearing joints also. Changes in sex hormone levels (OA is more prevalent among post-menopausal women than among men of the same age). A study of mice found natural female hormones to be protective while injections of the male hormone dihydro-testosterone reduced protection. Yoga for OA – Virabhadrasana (Warrior pose) – Baddha Konasana (Butterfly pose) – Dandasana (Staff pose) – Padangushtasana (Big Toe Pose) – Setu bandha sarvangasana (Bridge pose) – Adho Mukha Svanasana (Downward facing dog pose) – Ardha chandrasana (Half moon pose) – Uttanasana (Forward bending pose) – Utthita Hasta Padangushtasana (Extended hand to big toe pose) – Utthita Parshvakonasana (Extended Side Angle Pose) – Hatha Yoga – Most forms of Yoga in the west can be classified as Hatha Yoga. Hatha refers to the practise of physical yoga postures, meaning your Ashtanga, Vinyasa, Iyengar and Power Yoga classes are all Hatha Yoga. The word Hatha can be translated as ‘wilful’ of ‘forceful’ or the yoga of activity, and as ‘sun’ (ha) and ‘moon’ (tha), the yoga of balance. Hatha practices are designed to align and calm your body, mind and spirit in preparation for meditation.

Hi. It's normal to loose up to 100 hair per day, and in most people, those hairs grow back. But many men -- and some women -- lose hair as they grow older. You can also lose your hair if you have certain diseases, such as thyroid problems, diabetes, or lupus. If you take certain medicines or have chemotherapy for cancer, you may also lose your hair. Other causes are stress, a low protein diet, a family history, use of bore water, or nutritional deficiencies. Need to rule out any causative factor or underlying medical condition. Management: Take diet rich in protein like non-veg., eggs (it's loaded with essential nutrients such as proteins, Vitamin B12, iron, zinc and Omega 6 fatty acids in large amounts and biotin) , different pulses & legumes, sprouts, nuts (sp. walnuts and almonds); iron-rich food like green vegetables, dates, carrots, prunes, green peas; also oats, shrimp, take flaxseeds, sunflower seeds, sesame seeds, green tea, soyabean, fruits, salads, etc. Take low-fat dairy products (they also contain whey and casein, two high-quality protein sources) Take proper 6-9hrs of sound sleep. Give up the habit of smoking and excessive alcohol intake. Avoid junk food and any kind of beverages (tea, coffee, aerated drinks, cold drinks, etc.) Avoid canned/ tinned food or food that contains preservatives (eat fresh ones). Avoid use of hard water to wash the head rather use boiled water for head wash. Avoid use of harsh hair colour, hair treatment like rebonding, straightening, perming, etc. Avoid vigorous exercises or any supplements provided by the gym! Cover your head with scarf or cap while stepping outside. Use Rose wood/ any wooden hair comb to brush your hair. Regular exercising is also one of the important point, but should be done under some good, qualified yoga teacher or instructor for proper guidance; it also releases the stress/ tension in the mind and the body and keeps you FIT and YOUNG!! Medication: Take homoeopathic Rx - Schwabe's Wiesbaden 200 & Alfalfa Tonic twice a day for 1 month and revert. Also, use Schwabe's Arnica shampoo and Hair Growth oil regularly as per the condition of your scalp (minimum 3 times a week). After shampooing, use Bakson's Arnica Hair conditioner as well after every head wash. Apart from this, take Follihair tablets (multivitamin) - 1 tab. daily once for 1 month. Investigations advised: Get your blood tested for (empty stomach) - CBC, S. Iron, S. Folic acid, S. Ferritin, S. Calcium, S. Vitamin D3, S. Vitamin B12. If there is any family history of Thyroid dysfunction, get Thyroid function test done as well.

Hi, to gain weight you need to combine a balanced eating pattern with regular physical activity. You should be eating at least 6 small meals a day, rather than sticking to 3 square meals. You could divide it as 3 main meals and 3 snacks. You need to be eating every 2-3 hours. Space out snacks during the day so you don't spoil your appetite. Bread, cereal, rice, whole wheat, dalia and pasta: biscuits, and corn-bread are good sources of carbohydrates. Fruits: dried fruits, fruit nectars, and large quantities of fresh fruits vegetables: include, potatoes, peas, corn in your diet. Meat, poultry, fish, dry beans, eggs, and nuts: beef, pork, lamb, poultry, salmon, omelets, nuts, peanut butter, kidney beans, chickpeas will help you gain weight. Include dairy products like milk, yogurt, and cheese: milk, fruited yogurts, hard cheeses, ice cream, puddings, custards, milkshakes. -nuts and seeds make a healthy option for snacks. -roasted channas and peanuts are good -peanut butter on the sandwiches are a great mid-meal choice. -you must know that cereals actually contain some healthy calories. Stay hydrated: drinking plenty of water and other fluids like juices, milk, soups etc, will work in your favour. Do not drink water before a meal and in between the meal as it may make you lose your appetite, thus calorie intake suffers. Sleep: at least 8 hours of sound sleep is a must. Since your body is actually building up muscles, while you rest. Weight gainers have long term side effects.
