I am 24 years old. I have pain behind left knee from 2 months. Whenever I jump I got severe pain but in routine it is alright. When painoccurs, I feel my leg divided in two pieces. I got x-ray but no issue there. Please suggest some cure for this. Thanks.

Quadriceps exercises- lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core strengthening exercise- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. Repeat 10 times, twice a day.

As of now For pain take tablet paracetamol 650 mg and plan for Physiotherapy treatment and get an MRI done after clinical examination for further guidance

Its Sciatica. Since its thr since few years I would suggest you get an MRI done. MRI screening whole spine n revert back with reports. Till den avoid bending forward n lifting any heavy weight. Hope your posture is correct while sitting else it will aggravate your symptoms.

Extension exercises x 15 times x twice daily. Bhujang asana. Core strengthening exercises. Back stretchingstretch do the cat/cow avoid bending in front. Postural correction- sit tall, walk tall. Apply hot fomentation.

Dear according to your medications you seems to be diabetic. So you may be suffering from frozen shoulder or age related arthritis of shoulder. Do gentle shoulder mobility exercises. Take care.

I am suffering from pain in my feet, specially at the heel area and if I walk fast or a bit more than normal, they hurt immensely. Also, from past 2 days, I am not even able to stand properly because of the immense pain in the heel area of my feet.

Hello Lybrate user. Seems like your having heel pain in both heel (plantar fascitis). Condition develops gradually by the when your fascia, structural get irritated by time by hard surface or wearing improper footwear's without any soft cushions or pad. Change your footwear's .if possible do wear a good pair o sports shoes, you will see immediate changes, contrast bath .soak your both feet in hot n cold water in 3: 1 ration do 6 repetition .this will help to subsiding a pain, do calf n fascia stretches moment wen you get in morning off the bed and in between, next is release that fascia structure using tennis ball below your heel. If you find any difficulty to understand all the process mentioned above .do visit a physiotherapist professional near by you he /she will explain you all. Thanks & regards.

I have a pain in knees. When I work continuously in office with chair I feel so much pain and I also feel pain in neck.  Sometimes I take pain killers but it gives me a temporary relief. I also use some kind of balm on it but the same thing happens again and again. Please suggest any method how to control excess pain in knees and neck.

According your age tk calcium supplements and avoid strain for neck pain do heat fermentation and stretching exercise and avoid long sitting and toward bending. For knee pain. Tk heat fermentation and rest avoid long standing and put a towel under knee and press for 10 sec and release. For both pain tk muscle relaxant medicine.

Dear lybrate-user an up coming cricketer like you should not overlook these kind of injuries. You can do icing and use ankle support, it will give you relief. We need to check if this is simple sprain or fracture. X ray is needed to rule out about fracture. Physiotherapy will help you if it is a sprain. Consult a near by sports physiotherapist.
