Hello. For sore throat, need to follow the points: - avoid cold things, fried/ oily food. -avoid excessive use of voice/ roughly using voice or else shouting. - gargle with salt and warm water solution thrice daily. - take ginger tea. - avoid excessive cold air or sudden change of temperature (like coming from heat/ sunlight to an a/c room). - can cover your throat with a stole. Take homoeopathic medications - schwabe's kali mur. 6x and alpha- cf/ 1 tab. - both thrice a day daily- for 3 days. Revert me back.

*Take protein rich food --- seeds, pulses, nuts, Also fruits, vegetables, greens and reduce carbs/cereals. *Green tea is also good. *Take lemon juice and honey in warm water in the early morning, empty stomach. *Avoid sweets, cakes, creams, fried foods, processed food and junk food. * Maintain food timings * Don’t miss breakfast. *Avoid heavy dinners and late night meals. *Avoid stimulants, aerated drinks sweetish juices, etc. And maintain good food habits. * Drink lots of water and keep hydrated. Avoid sugary soft drinks * Have adequate, timely, good night sleep *Even with desk job, you can spend morning and evening time for work out *Have vigorous physical exercise to improve absorption and blood circulation. Games like basketball, volley ball and stretch exercises like pull ups, cycling will be helpful. Obesity- Check whether you have thyroid and such ailments causing weight increase. Homoeopathy has a good treatment for this problem.

Doctor saheb during recent navratras I was on fasting during the day time but took one time normal food in the night. After navratras were over I felt some pains in my teeth jaws and feeling cold and hot water sensation together. There is also feeling of dry mouth sometimes but no quite often. Sometimes I feel acidity problem as well. Please suggest how to get rid of this problem. Thanks

1.Drink plenty of water with ORS 2. take one tablet of Norflox Tz twice daily 3.Have bland diet 4.If no relief, get your stool examined and consult doctor

if you want a permanent cure start doing surya namaskar everyday in morning along with it do prithvi mudra for 20 minutes daily. these 2 activities will give you amazing results. apart from that whatever you eat in lunch, dinner 7 breakfast try to add 2 spoon of cow ghee in it, in morning drink a hot cow milk glass with 2 bananas and put shakkar & 1 spoon cow ghee in it.

1. Do not strain your eyes too much by continuously reading or working. 2. If you are stressed, try to relax your mind and body. 3. Do Meditate and yoga daily. 4. If your eyes are weak, wear specs. Put almond oil before sleeping at night. 5. Splash cold water twice on your eyes daily

My schedule is very tight means I worked in bpo in night shift 9-6 after then come home n I sleep for 7-8 hour then lunch then again get some rest then gym so due to this schedule I get dark circles under my eye face dull sooo I want that you suggest me some different different protein tablets which is good for health n they help me to remove the dullness of my face n dark circles under the eye.

Dark circles are because of lack of nutrients....sleep and weakness...ao take proper nutrients and drink plenty of juices and sleep for atleast 7 hours a day...drink 7-8 glasses of water every day

Use hot water bag and keep it there for sometime. Do it regularly. You can also consult a physiotherapist. He can show you various exercises to relieve the pain and then you can do it on your own.

If this has happened for the first time, then there is no need to worry and no need for any medicines also. Sometimes because of hormonal changes or stress or weight gain such things happen. If this is recurring again and again then you should get ultrasound with hormonal tests and then 3 months course of medicines will help you get back to normal menstrual flow.

Painful Intercourse: How To Make It Less Painful?

A healthy physical relationship is not only stimulating, but it also enhances your emotional bonding with your partner and reduces stress in both partners. However, statistics report that almost 30% of the women experience pain during intercourse. This not only hampers the pleasure, but is also an unhealthy sign since it is indicative of a problem.

Painful intercourse could be a regular occurrence nor a sporadic one. There could be numerous reasons that cause the discomfort and pain. Though it might be an early manifestation of grave diseases, such as endometriosis or fibroids, but more often, it is triggered due to conditions, such as vaginal dryness, yeast infection, bacterial vaginosis, which can be easily treated. It is pertinent to understand that it is not the physical infirmity of the entire female anatomy that causes such pain or discomfort, but the existence of certain conditions that can be treated by a medical practitioner. 

Certain such causal factors associated with painful intercourse and the efficient ways to deal with them are discussed below:

  1. Vaginal dryness: Vaginal dryness is one of the most commonly cited causes for painful intercourse. There are various causal factors of vaginal dryness. These include, but are not limited to, consumption of certain drugs, bathing with hot water, health conditions or even lack of foreplay. Vaginal dryness due to the aforementioned causes is a short lived condition that can be treated well with the help of a medical practitioner. Usage of lubricants that is suitable for you, as advised by a medical practitioner, could go a long way in aiding the ease of sexual intercourse. The lubricants act as an effective substitute, if the body is unable to naturally secrete vaginal fluids to ease intercourse, thereby greatly reducing the pain that is experienced.
  2. Improper vaginal expansion: The female anatomy is designed in such a way that it expands normally during intercourse. Proper foreplay enables the woman to get excited, which results in the release of vaginal fluids that aids in sexual intercourse. However, in the event that the female is not excited enough prior to the act, sexual intercourse can become a painful act, since the vagina is unable to expand in the absence of vaginal fluids. In such cases, take things slow and give your body time to comfortably go with the flow.
  3. Vaginal itching caused by infection: Vaginal infections can be caused by antibiotics, prior sexual activity that has resulted in contraction of Sexually Transmitted Diseases etc. This results in an itching or burning sensation while having sex. It is essential to rest your body instead of forcing things, and to consult your doctor as soon as possible. The doctor can correctly diagnose the causal factors behind the infection, and prescribe the necessary medicines for it.

However, if your symptoms vary from the common ones mentioned above, or in case you have a different query, it is always advisable to consult the doctor.

High cholesterol can cause atherosclerotic heart disease or narrowed coronary arteries in the heart can cause the symptoms of angina, when theheart muscle is not provided with enough oxygen to function. Decreased blood supply to the brain may be due to narrowed small arteries in the brain or because the larger carotidarteries in the neck may become blocked. This can result in a transient ischmic attack or stroke. Peripheral artery disease describes gradual narrowing of the arteries that supply the legs. During exercise , if the legs do not get enough blood supply, they can develop pain , called claudication . Other arteries in the body may also be affected by plaque buildup causing them to narrow, including the mesenteric arteries to the intestine and the renal arteries to the kidney. Avoid fast foods,oily foods,junk foods,alcohol,smoking,fatty foods, non-veg.,avoid stress, take green veg., whole grain.garlic,. Take anti cholesterol medicines .

Take following oil 1. Vata-jatadi tail apply it on hair alternate days take following remedies 1 asthi poshak vati 1 tab before lunch and dinner 2. I am facing mental problems. My consciousness feels weak, I can't imagine or remember things very naturally. I do not see a memory loss case, but memory is not as clear as it used to be a year ago. No behavioural change noticed. I feel as if I am living intoxicated or in a dream. I was on rotamax capsule but I stopped taking them.

Hi I will prescribe some harmless but effective flower remedy available in homoeopathy shops. Try to buy original medicines. Mix 4 drops of aspen + 4 drops of Rock Rose + 3 drops of Scleranthus + 3 drops of mimulus + 2 drops of White Chestnut. Mix these with 100 ml water and drink it every night once before sleeping. Hello.... If the spots are due to bad effects of sun then it can be cured very fast..... Take homoeopathic medicine Berberis aquifolium Q ( 10 drops three times a day in half cup water ).. Take this for one month..... Use homoeopathic cream Silk n Stay twice a day...... If your skin is oily then do not use the cream... Then apply berberis aquifolium Q on face after washing face with mild face wash.. Take few drops of this on cotton then apply on face only at night time...... Always use sunscreen in morning time..... Try to cover your face with cloth when going out....... All these will help you..... If you want any other advice you can consult me...... Feed me back.... Your liver is not working normaly that's why you are not gaing weight. You take 1to2spoon liv 52 syrup 30minuties before lunch end dinner. After a month consult me for next advice.

Hello Lybrate User, Please make these changes if you want to lose weight fast 1) Have small and frequent meals…it helps in increasing BMR and helps in weight loss 2) Cut down on sugar intake. Avoid mithais, sweets, icecreams, puddings etc 3) Drink at least 2 litres water in a day. But make sure not to have water immediately after a meal 4) Have more green leafy vegetables and whole fruits. Eat natural foods. 5) Avoid fried and fatty foods and foods with preservative such as samosa, pakoda, chips, namkeens etc 6) If you eat non veg, then avoid red meat and include more of leans cuts of chicken, fish etc. Don’t eat yolk. Have egg whites only. 7) Avoid aereated drinks and juices…even the fresh fruit juices. 8) Don’t drink alcohol as it has nothing but calories 9) Include more fibre in food as fibre keeps you full for longer. Whole fruits, vegetables, whole or sabut dals all have fibre. Try including more of fibrous cereals too such as dalia, oats, add bran to atta for making chapattis, brown rice etc. 10) Have good breakfast and light dinners. 11) Include physical activity like walking, swimming, cycling etc.
