Hi, I am not gaining weight, even I am eating 500 kcal above my regular diet, past two months, my weight is constant at 57 kgs, My diet and Hunger level is good, my diet plan is breakfast with 4 eggs, 300 ml milk, 30 gm whey protein, lunch with 4 chapati 100 gm curd, sabji, dinner with 2 eggs 100 gm paneer cube not cooked, 2 chapati and spicy. 2 year before I have used ON serious mass gainer and done some gyming at that time I have reached till max 63 kgs.

Dear Lybrate User, Weight is only one parameter in the grand scale of health. You have to eat some carbohydrate that is roti 3 or bread 3 slices or cereal 1 Bowl with breakfast. You can reduce to 200 ml milk. Eggs also can be 2 numbers. Lunch you can include dhal. Dinner also you can include Dhal or whole pulses instead of eggs again. More variety in foods will add more nutrients to your health. Being healthy, having no tiredness and able to be brisk all day. These are signs of health.

First of all you should take rest for 1-2 days so that your body can fight with underlying infection with its full immunity and start the below medication:- take gelesemium 200, twice daily. Take eupatrium perf 200, 5 drops thrice daily. Take antifebrinum 3x, 2 tabs, thrice daily. Take alfavena malt, 1 tsf, thrice daily. Drink lots of water and take light homemade food like dalia and khichdi, avoid oily, spicy, fried, junk and cold drinks. In case of high uncontrollable fever, don't panic you should do cold sponging to lower down the temperature. If fever does not goes then go for a set of blood tests. Revert me with feedback. Take care of your health. Good day.

I was diagnosed with uterine fibroid 30 x 29 mm on March 2018. I was prescribed Pristal for 3 months once daily but decrease was nominal as per present TVS. 32 x21 mm. Now doc. Has prescribed fibroease 25 for three months once daily. I am 40 years wt 56 kg. Pl. Advice whether I have to go for surgery or there is any hope with the prescribed medicine. Fibroease 25.

At 40 years age 3 cm fibroid doesn't require active action unless there are associated symptoms .It needs to be kept under observation by 6monthly Usg. Since you have already started fibrorease take it for 3moths and RPT Usg for any reduction in size or not.

Hi 1. Eating 5 to 6 meals a day in order to gain weight, start eating 5-6 meals a day by breaking them into parts. Eating a lot at once may cause indigestion if the body fails to absorb all nutrients. Eat in small amounts, even if you are not hungry and there will be an increase in appetite from day to day. The aim should be to have a generously portioned breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as two to three snacks in between. 2. Start weight training if you build your muscles through weight training, it will convert the extra weight into lean body mass and also stimulate your appetite. The extra muscle increases the rate of metabolism. When you start exercising you will often experience extreme muscle soreness but it goes away in 3-5 days. 3. Load up on protein besides weight training, a protein-rich diet can help you gain mass. Eating a meal heavy in protein shortly after finishing exercise can be highly effective in adding extra pounds to your body. However, a diet focused only on lean protein is not helpful. It is important to make sure that your diet has plenty of fat in it. Eat foods rich in protein like cheese, meat, eggs, etc to gain weight in a healthy manner. 4. Workout your entire body a lot of people focus only on training the muscles on their arms, chest and shoulders and this is a grave error. Firstly, it will give you a disproportionate body; and it will make you prone to injuries. Therefore, it's important to work out the entire body for a complete and balanced look. 5. Drink your calories to reach the calorie requirement only by eating may be tough. Drinking milk, milkshakes or protein shakes with little or no sugar can be an effective way to load up on the calorie requirements. 6. Be patient and believe in yourself gaining weight quickly in a healthy manner is unrealistic. Every body type is different and it takes months to gain weight. Living healthy by eating the right diet will increase your strength. It is also important to keep following the routine even if you don't see any gains. Caution: junk food and fried foods must be avoided; although have a tendency to add more fat to your body but are very low in vitamins and minerals which are essentially required to keep you really fit. Take over-the-counter medicine for fever. Keep a check on high fever ,if any Drink plenty of liquids. Eat healthy diet. Take adequate rest. If any associated complaints eg cough, cold, sinusitis, vomittings, jt pains, urinary complaints, treatment depends on it too. Hope this helps u

You could be having an eye strain problem or an emotional one related to anger. So do visit an optician and then a counselor. One of them may advise meeting with a neurologist to investigate any problem that is neurological in nature. If the emotional problem resonates with some truth, do meet with a counselor and learn how to deal with that emotion, even if it is from early childhood.
