Dear lybrate-user, namaskar, this is what we call. Lifestyle disease, quite common amongst the youngsters who work on computers for long hours. You must sit with right posture while working (proper height of the screen, desk as well as your chair with correct back support.) you should interrupt your working for 10 minutes after every 1-1.5 hrs. Also in between close your eyes for few minutes and learn exercises for the back and eyes by a physiotherapist and decrease the brightness of your screen. Take care.

I get pains in lower back and in my right testis, And I get wet dreams, And sometime I get it for continue for 2 to 3 days. What to do, Am 21 aged. Give me sme solutions for not getting pains and wet dreams.

Wet dreams are normal in men who do not relive sex drive by doing sex or masturbation. The cause pain may be sciatica and need to check up. It cannot be a serious problem in our very young age.

I suggest you follow the below for your condition: take mag phos 6x - thrice daily for next 2 weeks and update. Also do x-ray of the affected area. Heat and ice packs. Heat and/or cold therapy helps relieve most types of low back pain by reducing inflammation. Often patients use ice, but some prefer heat. Both may be used alternately.

I have pain in my left hand, I m a gym goer and I eat kfc chicken which have contained monosodium glutamate is it the reason for my suffering or also I think that due to sleeping in left side. Suggest me how can I get rid of it.

I have pain behind my knee portion. My knee does not pain. I am not able to run fast or do a sprint. Whenever I stand I have a severe pain in my back side of knee portion. What could be the reason behind this. Please help. Thank You.

Hi thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. I am Dr. Akshay from fortis hospital, new delhi. You are very young to actually have persistent back and neck pains. If you have localized back and neck pain with no other symptoms like radiating upper limb pain or leg pain, neurological symptoms like numbness, weakness, paresthesias etc, then you can start with following recommendations for initial period of 2-3 weeks: - to maintain proper posture of your back & neck while working and sleeping - if pain is more then you can take a short course of an anti-inflammatory medication like tab etoshine or paracetamol or one which suits you - physical therapy initially under supervision of a trained physiotherapist and then to continue at home - adequate calcium & vitamin d intake if levels are low in body - ice packs can applied if your pain is acute, then hot fomentation can be done at home - analgesic spray for local application can be used and is easily available. - avoid lifting heavyweight/ acute forward bending in mornings etc we will observe you for next 2-3 weeks how you respond to this conservative management protocol. If you are not feeling better, then we will have to get some investigations like, dynamic x rays of lower back and neck region and a few blood tests for evaluation. Also you need to actually decrease your weight simultaneously to offload your spine of weight transmission. Do not hesitate to contact me if you need any further assistance. Apply Hot Fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front. Postural Correction- Sit Tall, Walk Tall. Extension Exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times. Bhujang Asana – Lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily. Core Strengthening Exercises- Straight Leg Raised With Toes Turned Outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Back Stretching- lie flat, pull one of the knee forward to chest, hold for 3 seconds, then bring the other knee forward to the chest and again hold for 3 seconds. Then pull both knees towards the chest and hold for 3 seconds. Repeat 10 times each exercise twice a day. Do the cat/cow stretch. Get on all fours, with your arms straight and your hands directly under your shoulders; your knees hip-width apart.

I am feeling symptoms of pain in the base of my leg towards ankle side or heel side which touches the floor. -usually feel pain whenever legs are hanged in air for a long time -after getting up in morning, pain is exaggerated if I do running a day prior. Pain goes away once I get up and start some movement.

If you getting pain in heal while putting your weight ,it will be heal spur .or if your getting pain in calf muscle and behind the ankle means it will be Achilles tendonitis .just go for x-ray for heal spur.

I am 60 years of age. I am feeling pain in the left knee. The pain is not from the joints but at the lower front of knee. What could be the reason and possible remedy.

This could be due to oa knee &/or obesity. Physiotherapy along with medicines will help. Do knee exercises. It may have to be further investigated rule out diabetes & vit. D deficiency or any other metabolic disorder. Sleep on a hard bed with a soft bedding on it. Any way take multivitamins & other antioxidants along with. Ibuprofen 200mg od & sos x 5days you will need other supportive medicines also. Make sure you are not allergic to any of the medicines you are going to take.
