Unable to sleep in nights why I also dont know please suggest any medicine or exercises so that I can get my sleep back.

1. Boil 3 grams of fresh mint leaves or 1.5 grams of dried powder of mint leaves in 1 cup of water for 15-20 minutes. Take lukewarm with 1 teaspoon of honey at bedtime. 2. Add ½ tsp of cinnamon powder and 1 tsp of honey with 1 cup of warm milk. Drink before going to bed. 3. Massage your feet with lukewarm mustard oil 2-3 times a day and before going to bed. 4. Take 1 teaspoon each of brahmi and ashwagandha powder in 2 cups of water, boil and reduce it to one cup and drink it daily in the morning to reduce headache. 5. Take dinner before 8pm . 6. Avoid using laptop and electronic gadgets 1 hr before sleep. 7. do pranayam early morning 8. Drink plenty of fluids.

Dear lybrate user in diabetes role of diet, exercise and drugs is very much important. In diet instead having 2 large meals devide into 3-4 mini meals to regularise sugar level. Restrict fried foods, eat plenty of salads, green leafy vegetables, fruits. Take aerobic exercises, pranayam and yogasanas. Involve urself in religious activities, chanting mantras which will improve your life quality.

I'm suffering from severe back pain. How can I be relieved. Also my lower stomach hurts. Feeling indigestible. Please help me with this.

Sometimes constipation or indigestion also caused by back pain. Treat the indigestion properly. Apply hot water or ice fermentation 3- 4 times a day. Avoid long time standing. Drink lot of plain water. Consume high fibre food. Avoid spicy food. Avoid Forward bending.

hello, do not apply over the counter medications over your face. they may cause a lot of unwanted side effects like irritation, hair growth on face, thinning of skin, wrinkles on face, pimples and even steroid dependance. your treatment will depend on the type of spots you have. apply sunscreen regularly.

I am having problems with my sleep. I hardly sleep 4-5 hrs per day and the sleep cycle is also not proper, not able to sleep on time. I have taken sedative for around 6 months, but not helping me.

Sleep rejuvenates us. So good sleep is really necessary. To have good sleep we should also see how our day goes coz sleep is slowing of thoughts. If in day time we are very stressed then it would be difficult to have a good sleep. Would advise some meditations in day time .Dinner should be 2 hrs before sleep time. Wash feet with cold water. Take deep breaths. Mind should be light. Can take warm milk befor bed.

Use Tea Tree face wash and Toner twice daily. Use AHA Glow face wash once in a day. Use Sunscreen with SPF 30 daily. Use natural face pack of Multani Mitti and lemon 2 times a week. You can also use apple cider vinegar for 5 minutes after washing your face and splash it clean with water.  Most important is diet- Do not eat Junk, Eat more Vegetables and fruits especially with Vitamin C.

To gain weight you should eat more calories than you burn. Plus not only you have to eat calorie dense food but you have to keep in mind that what you are eating is healthy too. In the process of weight gain you do not want to put weight in an uneven manner and look unhealthy rather than looking bright and healthy. 1.Start with changing your lifestly. Start working out if you are not active. The biggest myth that prevails now a days is that thin people do not need to work out. This is wrong. When you challenge your body, it is forced to grow. But this growth can only be possible if you are eating enough food to let the body absorb and grow in size and muscles. 2.Eat Healthy – Stop drinking and smoking too much if you are indulged in it. Limit your intake of junk food, pepsi, sugary stuff etc. Do not at all starve yourself. Make it a habit to eat something healthy every 3 hours. This means you have to eat 6 small meals in a day. Your Daily food intake should ideally consist of – a.Have plenty of nuts, dry fuits and seeds. Almonds, walnuts, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, figs, dates and raisins. They are full of healthy fats needed by a human body. B.Good amount of fruits and vegetables – Bananas, apples, pomegranate, green leafy vegetables. Fruits and vegetables helps in absorption of food in the body and together, completes your daily nutrition need. C.If you are a non- vegetarian - Eat eggs, chicken etc. D.Eat whole grains – Try to have multi grains spread throughout the day. Wheat, brown rice, oats, bajra, daliya etc should be taken in multiple meals in a day. E.Eat Sprouts – Chana and moong which are full of protein and nutrients. F.You can supplement your diet with good quality multi-vitamin capsules. If you are lacking in protein, you can buy a high quality whey protein and have it with banana shake twice a day. G.You can take natural food items like wheat grass which is full of essential nutrients which helps in weight gain. Try to be patient while you are on the process of weight gain. If steroids are given orally for long periods of time than only it will cause bone shrinkage but if given through nebulisation than it won't have any side effects
