You had a cardiac arrest & gastric ulcer in the past and both are related to stress and wrong eating habits and you are only 30. Spondilitis is also bothering you but good news for you is that all cardiac reports are normal now. Take a second opinion and get tested again if you have breathless and tightness of chest, get lungs examined by doing a spirometry test, may be it is a respiratory problem due to pollution/ smoking.

I am gonna be 18 in 3 months. My penis is very very small. It is about 4½ inches long, but the width is just as wide as a toe. It has never really increased since I was 12. Do I need some hormonal supplements? What do I do?

MD - Obstetrtics & Gynaecology, MBBS
Gynaecologist,
I am gonna be 18 in 3 months. My penis is very very small. It is about 4½ inches long, but the width is just as wide ...
Penis size is a natural thing. It cannot be increased at will or by doing any exercises or operations. Your body is still growing and it will reach the max growth by 21. So wait for that growth to happen but body growth may not result in penis growth. So one must accept what is naturally ours and try to master the use of the organ. Just accept the fact that penis does not grow beyond a limit. World over different races have different penis average sizes and most often you will reach the average size of penis in india i. E about 5 inches at full erection, by the time you are 21.

I don’t know if you are fully aware: you have mentioned that you are suffering from anxiety, which in itself can disturb your sleep. Instead of worrying too much about causes, why don’t you implement some of my suggestions, because they work effectively. The lack of sleep, i.e. Sleep for less than 6 hours per night, is directly linked to about 86 diseases! So let us first focus on that. In your case particularly, do not sleep during the day; don’t even lie down. Go for regular exercise (breathing through your nostrils only) at a fixed time (at about 6 am) every day, whether you sleep or not. You must develop this habit of sleeping by 10 pm latest every night and wake up at a uniform time by 6 am every morning, even if you do not get sleep. If you do not get sleep, just lie down and if you have a bed lamp (or you could get one) lie down and read something light but not exciting. Your eyes will tire and you will fall asleep. If you like you may also put on light and soft music with the sleep function on. Depending on whether you are a visual or auditory person, you may watch TV in a lying down position until you feel sleepy. Have a warm bath before going to bed (for some people a cold bath at night seems to induce sleep! If you are one of them, please do so). Place the head side of your bed in a North-South position. The room must be as dark as possible and there should be no electronic items that give off even a light LED glow. There must be ample ventilation in the room. Avoid strong odors, except lavender, on your body or in the room, or on your sheets and clothes. There should not be any live plants in your bedroom. Sleep with the lightest of clothes or without any clothing. When lying down to sleep, lie down on your left ear as much as possible. Do not sleep directly under an overhead fan. You must eat a good breakfast, a fairly light lunch, and an early dinner, which should be a very light meal. Whatever you eat in the other meals, have only a pure carbohydrate meal at night with any vegetables, and preferably before 8 pm. Do not drink much liquids after or near about dinner time. When lying down to sleep you may use the 4-7-8 breathing pattern of sleep inducement i.e. Breathe in for four counts through your nostril only, hold for 7 counts, and exhale with a whoosh sound, through your mouth only, for 8 counts. Repeat this four times in the morning and just before you sleep at night. If you know Emotional Freedom Technique or EFT (check this out either on YouTube or Google), then please practice this too for sleep induction. Self-hypnosis and slow relaxation techniques, at night will be tremendously useful. Acupuncture or acupressure will both be very useful too. Pray last thing at night before you sleep.

Fast Food: Harmful Effects of it!

Fast Food: Harmful Effects of it!

The name 'fast food' comes from the fact that it can be prepared and served in a jiffy and not to mention, tastes delicious. Don't be fooled by the smell and the taste, they have such little to no nutritional value that they can hardly be called food. They are rich in calories, fat and sugar that lead to various kinds of health conditions. Popular junk foods include gums, sweets, carbonated drinks, desserts, dried foods; you probably love them now but after knowing their effects on your health you might want to eliminate them from your diet. Here are some of the conditions which can be caused by consumption of excessive fast food:

  • Heart diseases: Fast food contains high amounts of trans or saturated fats that can clog your arteries and lead to high level of cholesterol later in life. People who have junk food more than four times a week increase their risk of dying by 80%.
  • Obesity: Adolescents who have poor eating habits are at high risk of being obese. Gaining a lot of weight beyond a recommended proportion can cause many health problems. Junk foods have sugar and calories that lead to weight gain. It has also been noticed that people who are prone to eating more fast foods are less likely to consume fruits and vegetables and this further weakens their immune system.
  • Peptic Ulcer: Peptic ulcer is a disease that occurs in the gastrointestinal tract; it is acidic in nature and causes extreme stomach ache. Spicy oily and salted food combined with stress and alcohol can lead to this condition.
  • Diabetes: Busy work schedule prevents many people from cooking at home and they take resort in fast food but it is advisable not to let work get in the way of your health. Consuming regular fast food coupled with poor lifestyle and lack of exercise lead to obesity which in turn cause Type 2 diabetes.

Cut down on junk foods and incorporate fruits and vegetables and also make time to include a daily exercise routine to maintain a healthy lifestyle. If you wish to discuss about any specific problem, you can consult a dietitian-nutritionist and ask a free question.

Eptoin is a medicine given for epileptic patients. If you have had a phase of epileptic attack after accident thaen it is not advisable to stop it till the full course is completed. But if the same has been prescribed for significant irritability, anger or other uncontrollable emotional upheavals after the accident then relaxation methods, emotion focused therapy, controlled breathing techniques etc can help. But its not advisable to stop the medicines abruptly. Natural aphrodisiacs can improve your libido and prevent premature ejaculation. This would include carrots, fennel seeds, celery, bananas, garlic, onion, ginger, shellfish, lettuce etc. - Including these foods in your daily diet will ensure that you remain free from sexual problems, including premature ejaculation. Be a man/be confident you are eligible to marry. Size of penis does not matters must -- the main thing is how you keep your wife happy..... For further queries get back to me.
