Hello Although graying of hair is a natural process as you get older but at your age it may be a reason of too much stress and bad eating habits. Try to be happy throughout the day. Listen to your favourite music to relax your brain and muscles. Also, Having a highly acidic diet (Junk food, Pickles etc.) increases hair graying. Try to eat a lot of fruits and vegetables and drink ample amount of water to keep your body alkaline (opposite of acidic).

5 Foods That Boost Energy

B.Sc.(Hons), P.G.Dietetics

5 Foods That Boost Energy

In your day to day lifestyles, it has become very difficult to maintain routines and habits to the optimal level. But in order to function efficiently and to put your body in full functioning capacity, here are five energy boosting foods to try:

1. Honey: This natural sweetener is extremely low on the glycemic index and acts as muscle fuel, thus helping you to replenish the muscles during and post exercising. It is literally nature's counterpart to an energy drink that can be added to tea, water or even your yoghurt.

2. Banana: One of the most popular and well loved energy foods, bananas being mostly composed of sugars, can provide a head-on energy boost.

3. Nuts: They are extremely important in converting sugar into energy. Also, they are extremely handy to munch on when feeling lethargic or low in energy. Nuts like almonds, cashew nuts or hazel nuts are rich in magnesium and help to keep blood sugar levels even and supply protein to keep the hunger away.

4. Cardamom: This popular spice is well known to help boost energy by promoting blood flow. Indulge in a cardamom laden curry or a tea infused with cardamom to combat low energy levels.

5. Apples: Since they take much longer to digest in comparison to other fruits, these beautiful fruits provide a more prolonger energy boost. Being high in fiber, they're easy to carry around and munch on.
This is not an exhaustive list, and there are several more where they came from. Pick out the food items that are easily available for you and keep them at hand to pick you up when you function on low energy levels. If you wish to discuss about any specific problem, you can consult a Dietitian/Nutritionist.

Difference in glycomet gp-1 and glycomet 500 what are conditions when glimepiride and metformin to be taken individual or as combination, if sugar in the range of 140 in fasting and 180-200 after lunch can we take glycomet 500 alone.

Mr. lybrate-user, Thanks for the query. Glimepiride stimulates betacells to secrete insuli. Metformin is supposed to reduce insulin resistance and slow down glucose absorption from the intestine. Plus it also has many more beneficial functions. Usually both these are used togeter to control increased blood glucose. In newly diagnosed patients metformin alone is used. In some both drugs are used together. Which drug to take for a particular level can be decided by the treating doctor. Thanks.

Hye. In order to lose weight you must either eat sensibly and exercise to burn off calories. Eat as per the body's needs. Food that is not used to fuel the body is stored as fat. A major component of losing weight is to make smarter food choices. Here's how: Limit non-nutritious foods, such as: Sugar, honey, syrups and candy, pastries, donuts, pies, cakes and cookies, soft drinks, sweetened juices and alcoholic beverages Cut down on high-fat foods by: Choosing poultry, fish or lean red meat. Choosing low-fat cooking methods, such as baking, broiling, steaming, grilling and boiling. Avoiding high-fat snacks like chips and chocolate. Avoiding fried foods. Using less margarine and mayonnaise. Avoiding high-fat gravies, cream sauces and cream-based dishes. Eat a variety of foods, including: Fruit and vegetables, whole grains, breads, cereal, rice and pasta, dairy products, such as low-fat or non-fat milk or yogurt, low-fat cottage cheese and low-fat cheese, protein-rich foods like chicken,  fish, dals and legumes, or beans should be included in your diet. Change your eating habits: Eat three balanced meals a day to help control your hunger. Watch portion sizes and eat small servings of a variety of foods. Choose low-calorie snacks. Eat only when you are hungry and stop when you are satisfied. Eat slowly and try not to perform other tasks while eating. Find other activities to distract you from food, such as walking, taking up a hobby or being involved in the community. Include regular exercise in your daily routine.

I am Sujay Das at 35 years old, How can I stop my hair fall and how to get healthy grow up hair?
Hi lybrate-user. The exact cause of hair loss may not be fully understood, but it's usually related to one or more of the following factors: 1. Family history (heredity) 2. Hormonal changes 3. Medical conditions 4. Medications 5. Life style medication:- 1. Regular oiling with sukesham oil, guduchi pharmacy helps a lot to reduce hairfall within 21 days. 2. Preferably use guduchi anti hairfall shampoo, blot you hair with towel n donot rub. 3. Apply hairmask using amla n bhringaraj powder mixed with buttermilk weekly once helps a lot. 4. Cap trichup, 1 cap twice a day after food for 1 month. Tips:- 1. Wash hair regularly with lukewarm to cold water to keep the scalp clean and healthy 2. Avoid combing hair when wet since it is prone to breakage at such time.

The basic important criteria to diagnose somebody and that to a female they have got many investigations but normal approach to diagnose the infertility is when a couple fails to conceive two years of normal sexual relationship then usually we start first with the seman analysis because that's the only test to rule out male infertility at once. Then we start with female investigation with USG and ovulation study. But this is a step by step process which depends on every step of investigation.

Diet and lack of exercise are the two most important factors that contribute to obesity. While the modern day diet is becoming more and more full of fats, sweets and empty calories, it is becoming devoid of nutritious vitamins and minerals. The fibre content is also decreasing. One tends to stack up on junk food in an effort to take a quick bite while on the go. At the same time, physical activity is on the decline. One has increased access to vehicles and the need to walk or cycle is almost not present. Even for commuting short distances, one uses cars or two wheelers. All these things are readily contributing to this epidemic of obesity. When it comes to getting rid of the excess fat, one needs to work conscientiously and consistently on both the counts mentioned above. One’s diet has to be altered so as to include more and more natural fruits and vegetables. Processed food and junk food should be cut down to the minimum. A daily exercise regimen needs to be adopted. Exercising for 30-40 minutes for a minimum of 5 days a week is necessary. Homeopathy helps by regulating the metabolic system of the individual. There are more than 100 medicines listed in the Homeopathic literature for obesity. It is a tough job selecting the right medicine for a particular patient. One needs to take into account a lot of things before selecting the right course of treatment. These things relate to other symptoms or conditions that may be present or the person may be suffering from. A lot of importance is given to the reason, if any can be found that stimulated weight gain. This reason could be a particular illness or an event or some psychological setback in life. The general reaction of the person to extremes of temperature, his or heating habits also need to be taken into account You can easily take an online consultation for further treatment guidance.

I am a 25 year old girl having a good educational degree and a decent job. From my childhood I had been a shy and introvert kind of person (mostly due to the kind of environment I was growing up). As time passed, I became more and more socially awkward and failed to communicate and adjust with the outer world. In course of time, I started to build an imaginary world for myself where I could do everything which I couldn't do in reality. As a result I got cut up from the real world, did not make friends and now suffering from depression as I don't have any support system in my life who would understand me and listen to me. I am a very sensitive person but also highly ambitious. The only good thing I did in my life is to excel in academics. But now when I look back I feel empty. There is a large gap between the person I am in my real life and the person I am in my imaginary world. I want to achieve so much in my life but due to all these mess going in my head I am finding it difficult to focus on my career. Can anyone please help?

Choti choti baatein bhulna koi bimari nahin hai. 1. Aapko thyroid hai - aapko apni diet ka and pani ka bahut dhyan rakhna chahiye. Diet samay par, aur sare din mein kam se kam 2-3 litres pani pina chahiye. 2. Exercise, yoga, jogging bahut zaroori hai - thyroid control aur energy level theek rakhne ke liye. 3. Ab aapke brain ke paas information overload hai, isliye important information likh kar rakheye. Ism koi sharam ki baat nahin hai - sabhi badi log zaroori kaam aur information likh kar rakhte hai. 4. Subah sabse pehla kaam - saare din mein jo karna hai, uski list banao aur ek ek kaam ho jaane par tick karte jaao. 5. Thoda dhyan lagao- meditation karo. 6. Khush raho. Relaxed raho.

Hello sir. I am subrat . I have gap in between my teeth plus my teeth are slowly becoming yellow. What should I do ?
Its depend upon how much space in between teeth. If space is less then we can do composite filling or if space is more we have to do crowns. Due to some stains teeth are becoming yellow. Do proper brushing twice daily and if still teth are yellow then do bleaching.

For burning sensation in the vagina you will have to consult a gynaecologist to get clinically checked and treated and for satisfactory sexual relations with your husband both of you need to talk openly to each other regarding your preference and choices and work on it.
