To stop or control hair loss, increase your intake of green leafy vegetables, salad, fruits and sprouts. Include yeast, wheatgerm, soybean, whole grains and nuts in your meals. Massage the scalp gently with coconut or almond oil daily for 10 to 15 minutes.

Hi, Thanks for writing in. Laser Hair Removal is safe and effective. Diode laser is the gold standard for hair Removal. Number of sittings may vary from 6 to 10. Cochlear Implant - How They Are Beneficial For You?

Are you experiencing severe hearing loss or turning deaf? To get back your normal hearing, you should undertake a cochlear. It is a small device which is planted in your ear via a surgical procedure. It sends impulses to the auditory nerve directly and as a result, sound signals are carried to your brain. Such an implant does not make you hear like normal again, but it helps you with sounds and knowing sounds around you such as telephones, alarms and doorbells.

How Does Cochlear Implant Work?

Cochlear implant is meant for adults and children who have sensorineural hearing loss. This is a condition which damages the tiny hair cells in the inner ear known as the cochlea. Your hearing gets impaired when these are damaged. A cochlear implant sends signals to the auditory nerve directly by skipping the damaged hair cells.

The device has two distinct parts. One part is the receiver-stimulator which is placed under the skin via surgery. The other part is the speech processor, which is worn around the back of the ear like a hearing aid. The outside device is, however, bigger in size than a hearing aid.

The receiver is placed under the skin, behind the ear through a small incision and it gets connected to electrodes. This is put into the cochlea of the inner ear. The surgery takes about some hours to be completed.

Two weeks after the surgery, the speech processor is fitted by the doctor. You will have to wear a microphone behind your ear. The processor can be connected to the microphone and worn around the ear. It can also be worn at any other place of the body, depending on your age and lifestyle.

Advantages of Cochlear Implant

The major advantages of a cochlear implant are as follows:

  1. You may be able to hear speech at an almost normal level.

  2. You may understand speech without the help of lip reading.

  3. It will be easy for you to talk on the phone and listen to the television.

  4. Your experience of listening to music will improve.

  5. You will be able to pick up different sounds starting from soft, medium to loud sounds.

  6. You can also control your own voice in a better way, which will make it easier for others to understand you.

A cochlear implant can be a life changing device if you suffer from serious hearing loss. The results are not the same for everyone and vary from person to person. Some people may benefit more than others.

Thank you for writing to us. Please note the following for your condition: The head should be massaged slowly with oil or shampoo while bathing or cleaning hairs resulting blood circulation becomes fast and the skin of the head is protected from dryness. Shampoo should be used only two times a week. Hairs should be washed with curd for removing dandruff. Spicy or fried foodstuffs should not be eaten. Excessive cream or jell should not be applied on hairs.

Papayas contain numerous natural vitamins and minerals leading to it being frequently used in the medicine industry. Listed below are the various benefits of Papaya :- 

Digestion and weight loss- Papaya helps in digestion and stimulates weight loss. It contains an enzyme called papain that breaks down proteins and cleanses the digestive tract. Vitamin C, E and folate in papayas produce a topic effect in the stomach and relieve motion sickness. It also cures constipation by improving bowel movement. Papaya kills germs in the stomach and intestines relieving many infections. 

Cancer- Papayas are really effective against breast, pancreatic, lung, liver and cervix cancer. It is, therefore, used in many ayurvedic as well as Western medicines to cure cancer.

Bone health- An enzyme called chymopapain found in papayas is extremely effective in treating rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis. Papaya stimulates Vitamin K in the body which improves calcium absorption and thus improves bone health. 

Immunity- Papayas are scientifically proved to have the power to improve immunity systems of people because of the antioxidants it contains. Papayas can conciliate problems like Bronchitis, Jaundice and kidney colic. It reduces the risks of developing asthma because of the antioxidant called beta carotene. 

Thus, Papaya provides various health and beauty benefits. It, however, may induce certain side effects like abortion, carotenemia, respiratory disorders, renal stones, rashes, constipation or slower heart rate if consumed in excess. Excess consumption of Papaya may even be toxic. Papaya is unsafe for children under the age of one year, therefore proper care should be taken during breast feeding. Also, one must always make sure that he/she is not allergic to papayas. .

Boil 3 grams of fresh mint leaves or 1.5 grams of dried powder of mint leaves in 1 cup of water for 15-20 minutes. Take lukewarm with 1 teaspoon of honey at bedtime. Add ½ tsp of cinnamon powder and 1 tsp of honey with 1 cup of warm milk. Drink before going to bed. Massage your feet with lukewarm mustard oil 2-3 times a day and before going to bed. Take 1 teaspoon each of brahmi and ashwagandha powder in 2 cups of water, boil and reduce it to one cup and drink it daily in the morning .

would recommend you this home remedy do as follows 1. Take 60 gm kidney beans 2. Add 4 L of water 3. Heat for 4-5 hr 4. Strain the liquid through a fine muslin cloth 5. Allow the liquid to cool 6. Drink 1 glass of this liquid once every 2 hr in a day 7. Do this for a week 8. Do not use the liquid or the beans again 24 hr after the 1st preparation

I have a severe lower back pain since last night. The pain is there only when I stand. I have no issues moving while lying down. But as soon as I stand there is a shooting pain in the lower back. I am unable to walk to a doctor. Please suggest some pain killer so that pain subsides and I can go meet a doctor and get mri done.

Pneumonia cannot remain this long and you are wrongly believing you have it still now. Do a checkup and see your problem correctly and treat.

How to boost stamina of my body. actually I m a athlete. So please suggest me for grow my stamina.

Dear, you will definitely get more stamina by following these very useful tips. * you should take proper balanced diet first. That means you have to take vegetables, milk, chapattis or rice, butter / cream, cereals (daals) or cheese every day. * very important thing, do not miss or skip your meals at any cost and take meals on time * drink atleast 2 litres of water daily. * proper 6-8 hours sleep is very important. If your sleep is less than 6 hours, then you feel tired very early. So complete your sleep. * do breathing execises daily in morning & evening. Just sit down in peaceful place, close your eyes, take deep and long breaths in and out. Do it atleast for 10-15 minutes daily. *take a walk, in first walk normally for 10-15 minutes for 15 days. Then slowly walk fast and slowly start running. You can do it on treadmill also. * you can do surya namaskar yogasan daily to improve your stamina under the guidance of yoga expert.
