If baby is breast fed only or getting some cow's milk or formula milk or calcium syrup. You should withhold everything except breast feed. Secondly if stools are not hard, then it's ok with once a week frequency for stools, if baby is breast fed only.

IMMUNISATION OF CHILDREN FROM BIRTH.
=====================================

There are many schedules of immunisation followed and varies from country to country, In india, we widely follow the National Immunisation Schedule.mainly in government hospitals. Many private institutions follow their own schedules.Both are effective,though the private hospitals use costly vaccines whereas the government supply is free.Depending on your purchasing power you can choose either.By and large INDIAN ACADEMY OF PEDIATRICS the largest and most authoritative body in India . Their schedule is fair combination of both types of vaccines newer but costly and cheap ( but effective & safe ) selected appropriately.Apart from the main or essential vaccines there are some optional vaccines for diseases which are not as fatal or life threatening which are covered in national immunisation schedule. I shall explain all important schedule.

Hello Mr. Lybrate-user, well your son is having chronic allergy, frequent cold and redness of eyes with frequent eye rubbing are the symptoms. Chronic allergy is quite commonly seen these days and this is seen frequently in your son's age group. Don't worry about it but this problem continues for long and you have to be vigilant to get him treated properly everytime. He has to use glasses everytime as this will help with his eyesight as well as keep dust n other allergens away from eyes. Wash his eyes every time he comes home from outside. Start with some immunity booster preprations and multivitamin supplements along with antihistamines. Take care.

In my opinion combine budecart 100 with formetrol a long acting beta 2 agonist 200, to be given by spacer and reduce dependence on levolin inhalation. In good control asthmatics need of levolin inh. Should be nil /less than once/week. This combination is available in market with different name like budamate 100/200.

This type of food habit starts in late infancy, when parents or near & dear either out of love or for their convenience offer such items. Now you may gradually reduce these items and encourage him to eat nutritious home made items of his choice. I hope, he may starts eating regular food.

5 reasons you should include bajra in your diet

1. Powerful for controlling diabetes:

Pearl millet is very powerful in controlling diabetes. Because of its high fibre content, it tends to digest slowly and release glucose at a slower rate as compared to other foods. This helps in maintaining healthy blood sugar levels for a long period of time.

2. Weight loss:

Being high in fibre content, it takes a longer time for the grain to move from the stomach to the intestines. This way, bajra curbs hunger for a long span of time.

3. Reduces cholesterol:

It contains phyto chemical, which is called phytic acid believed to increase cholesterol metabolism. It also stabilises the level of cholesterol in the body.

4. Helps in digestion:

Bajra is rich in insoluble fibre that aids digestion. It also reduces secretion of bile acids and is linked to a lowered risk of gallstone formation.

5. Helps prevent cancer:

Bajra has cancer-protecting properties. A study showed that regular intake of bajra protects pre-menopausal women from developing breast cancer.

Hi lybrate-user your child is 50 days old which is less than 3 month of age, he is not very much immune to disease and so the risk of serious bacterial infection is high in such cases. So I suggest you to kindly suggest your doctor again if the fever is above 100.5 f. If it is below that and baby is doing well gaining weight active and alert we usually do not consider it a fever so no need of doing anything.
