I was suffering from stomach got a tablet from a local medical store had it pain went again after two days it started paining now remember I had some chinese food at a friend party after that pain started to begin it starts I take a tablet it goes and after few days it again come back its getting repeated again and again.

Probably it could be due to poor digestion and please consult medical doctor for this problem. Drink butter milk and also hot water as a home remedy which would make you to feel comfortable.

From last 15 days I found my feet swollen. On contact, the doctor advised to reduce Bp which was 150/80. I am a diabetic and using metformin 500 2times day, voglistar o. 3three times a day TelmiSartan40 mg once daily For pain in feet they advised pregabalin75, Eslo 5 Dezacor6 Kindly let me know if My medication is correct.

Dear lybrater. Swelling can be due to low protein in blood heart problems kidney/ prostate problems thyroid problem medication like amlodepine. Eslo etc. Please tell me can you climb 2 floors without problems. Do you have any difficulty in passing urine. If no to both questions. Then stop eslo and increase telmisartan to 2 times a day. Please get back to me with details.

So much pain in right leg knee it has been feel pain wen there is movement in that part so can you please suggest doctor how it can be relieved doctor whom we have consulted has written medicine but now its not available near where we live so tomorrow we will go chd n buy but for now how to get rid with pain any safe opinion.

Avoid sitting Cross legged. Avoid Squatting- Quadriceps Exercises- Lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core Strengthening Exercise- Straight Leg Raised With Toes Turned Outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams Stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. repeat 10 times, twice a day. Sports Taping- stretch the tape from both ends and apply on the affected area Contrast Fomentation (Hot and Cold).

It could be due to plantar warts or gout.Take plain x ray of heel to exclude plantar warts and examine blood uric acid to exclude gout. Consult orthopaedic surgeon

I am staying in a hostel and here it's chlorine water only available for bathing. It's been 3 years and now I am experiencing heavy hair fall. I used to have mixed diet 3 years back. But after coming to college it's only veg food available here. I need a much needed help. I would like to do any treatment to prevent hair fall. I recommend ayurveda. Pls do needful help.

Start taking black til (seasam) with a glass of lukewarm milk early morning. Avoid pickles, spices, oily, greesy food items, too much of salt in food shud be avoided. Start avle ka murabba daily. Also have a high protien rich diet e. G. Pulses, dry fruits, black gram, ground nut etc, white of egg (if you eat egg). Also oil your hair with good herbal oil and wash with herbal shamppoo - avoid shampoos with high acid contents. As far as ayurveda's therapy is concerned - start with shirodhara with herbal oil and nasyam therapy for atleast 15 days. This will greatly help. Do gentle massage with herbal hair oil daily night for 15 minutes.

Hi, actually pain at calf/leg region can be due to many reasons, commonly it is muscular in nature but it can also be due to tendons, nerves, blood vessels etc. My advise to you for initial 2-3 weeks will be: - ice packs application intensively with elevation of your limbs at night - take a short course of anti-inflammatory medication as per your body's suitability, you ca also initiate a muscle relaxant along with an analgesic - stop your physical activity till pain completely subsides - intensive physical therapy, training and proper muscle conditioning once pain has subsided - slow resumption of physical activities with proper pre activity warm up and stretching of muscles and short increments in duration of physical activity each day as per pain tolerance. - some blood tests like serum vitamin d and serum potassium levels, esr and crp help in better diagnosis of such condition. I used to go to gym before. I had an accident and broke my ankle and added up 15 kgs to myself. And when starting to workout after a long period I started with heavy weights and strained my lower back. Suddenly lifting 15 kg of weight caused jerky movement of spine. This could result in slip disc .Your back muscles needs to be strengthen step by step by only by qualified and experienced physiotherapist and you do not have to bend your spine to lift heavy weight rather first bend your knees and than lift weight.

Since you have to travel on bike for long distance, there must be too many jerks on the road, which affects the spine and in long run can have harmful effects, so better would be to wear a lumbosacral belt if the pain is acute to avoid jerks, but in the long run you need to exercise your core muscles so that any trivial trauma will not cause pain. Do some exercises for the back pain daily like bhujangasan, pelvic lifting, static back exercises, core exercises.

Core Strengthening Exercises- Straight Leg Raised With Toes Turned Outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Back Stretching- lie flat, pull one of the knee forward to chest, hold for 3 seconds, then bring the other knee forward to the chest and again hold for 3 seconds. Then pull both knees towards the chest and hold for 3 seconds. Repeat 10 times each exercise twice a day.

You probably spend a whole day working at your office when your back remains in the same position. Then when you come back from work, you complain about your back pain, put some medicine and hope it goes away the next day. However, in such cases there are chances that the pain might return after a few days. You may not be aware of the fact, but there are certain fairly simple exercises you can do to strengthen your back and prevent back pain. Here are some of them.

1.Opposite arm leg raises
Lie on your stomach with one arm in the air as your starting position. Then finish the exercise by slowly lifting your leg. Hold this position for two seconds and then repeat this for the other arm and leg as well.

2. Prone hold
Hold a posture where you are holding your entire body weight on just your toes and your elbows for as long as it is pain-free.

3. Supermans
Lie on your belly with your arms above your head. Slowly lift your arms and legs from this position as far as possible and then put it down again. Repeat this as many times as you can do it in a pain free way. Once again, it is imperative to not do this when it is painful as you may get injured.

4. Side holds
To do this, you have to be on your side putting your entire body weight on the side of your foot and your elbow. Hold it for as long as you can maintain the correct posture and it is pain free for you.

5. Resistance band rotation
Stand straight up or on your knees with your back straight up. Then using a resistance band rotate your body back and forth. If you wish to discuss any specific problem, you can consult a physiotherapist.

There is a severe pain and burn in my hand. My wrist pains and my fingers are swollen. My full hand including fingers has tingling sensation all the time. The ulnar and radial nerve also has a burning sensation. My wrist and fingers are stiff too and I couldn't sleep too for the excess pain and burn.

Do contrast bath therapy- take hot water in one bowl & cold water in another bowl. First dip your hand upto wrist in hot water for 3 min then immediately in cold water for 1 min, keep repeating for 20-25 min, twice a day. While your hand is in water keep moving hand actively Do hand stretches Take smiley ball, squeeze it, hold for 3 sec then relax, 25 repetitions twice a day.

. Apply Hot Fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front. Postural Correction- Sit Tall, Walk Tall. Extension Exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times. Bhujang Asana – Lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily. Core Strengthening Exercises- Straight Leg Raised With Toes Turned Outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Back Stretching- lie flat, pull one of the knee forward to chest, hold for 3 seconds, then bring the other knee forward to the chest and again hold for 3 seconds. Then pull both knees towards the chest and hold for 3 seconds. Repeat 10 times each exercise twice a day. Do the cat/cow stretch. Get on all fours, with your arms straight and your hands directly under your shoulders; your knees hip-width apart.

Mr. lybrate-user, Thanks for the query. Sitting for a long time does lead to swellinof feet in some people, particularly if one is overweight. With a BMI of 29.39 kgs/M2, you are almost obese. You are carrying 15 kgs extra weight. This is the main cause of feet getting swollen. So do regular exercise and diet control, aim at reducing at least 3 to 4 kgs per month, that will help in overcoming the problem. Avoid junk foods, colas and pasties, bakery products. Thanks.
