Avoid long sitting toward bending tk break between long sitting use soft pillow for back support. Do hot fermentation and stretching exercise of spine and legs. If it work then ok otherwise physiotherapy treatment.

Apply hot fomentation twice daily. Avoid bending in front. Postural correction- sit tall, walk tall. Extension exercises x 15 times x twice daily - lying on tummy, take left arm up for 3 seconds, then bring it down, right arm up for 3 seconds, bring down. Bring right leg up, hold for 3 seconds, bring it down. Then right leg up and hold for 3 seconds and bring it down. Repeat twice a day- 10 times. Bhujang asana? lie flat on your stomach, keeping the palms out, bend the neck backward, take a deep breath and while holding it for 6 seconds, raise the chest up. Release breath and relax your body. Repeat the exercise 15 times twice daily. Core strengthening exercises- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day.

Dear lybrate-user, cholesterol medicine is given to patients who have moderate to high risk of developing heart problem. Risk is calculated from age, sex, history of diabetes, high bp, smoking, family history etc. Otherwise unless cholesterol value is very high no cholesterol medicine is required. Only diet and exercise will be enough. As regards diet she can take almost all home cooked foods. Avoid oily and high carb foods.

Hello, we have such cases in our clinics. No problem, it will be cured. Make sure she is on diabetic medication as suggested by doctor. Women loose calcium very much which makes weak bones. Avoid sitting cross legged. Avoid squatting- quadriceps exercises- lie straight, make a towel role and put it under the knee, press the keen against the role, hold it for 20 secs. Repeat 20 times twice a day. This will help relieve some pain. Core strengthening exercise- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Hams stretching- lie straight, take the leg up, pull the feet towards yourself, with a elastic tube or normal belt. Repeat 10 times, twice a day. Sports taping- stretch the tape from both ends and apply on the affected area contrast fomentation (hot and cold).

Core strengthening exercises- straight leg raised with toes turned outward, repeat 10 times, twice a day. Back stretching- lie flat, pull one of the knee forward to chest, hold for 3 seconds, then bring the other knee forward to the chest and again hold for 3 seconds. Then pull both knees towards the chest and hold for 3 seconds. Repeat 10 times each exercise twice a day.

Hi thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. I am Dr. Akshay from fortis hospital, new delhi. You seem to be having thigh strain which is very common if you exert too much while training, the answer is to stop all your physical activities till your pain subsides, start gentle anti inflammatory medications for 7-10 days, ice packs at home, limb elevation especially if it is associated with swelling, physical therapy focusing on scientific muscle training, pre activity warm up and gradual stretching of muscles before physical activity. You should also focus on increasing your physical activity gradually in a step wise manner so that muscles do not get fatigued and are adequately strengthened over a period of time. Swelling in the face could be due to compromised kidney functions or low protein levels or even hypothyroidism so get your kidney and liver function tests and with hemogram and thyroid profile. Get her Blood pressure checked as well.

First of all check your posture when you are lifting any material like heavy bucket . And try to lift the heavy bucket without bending your back . you may lift the bucket after bending your knees only. This will definitely help you. * Gentle massage with lukewarm mustard oil of your waist area will also give you relief. * Surya Namaskar is only exercise which you need to do. * In diet vegetable protein of cereal , B complex supplements and half teaspoon of haldi in a cup of milk for seven days will give you enough relief.

Hi Apply pranacharya restopain oil or prasarini oil on your affected part then give hot fomentation. Take maha rasnadi kwath 2-2 tsf twice a day. Take pranacharya vatari syrup and capsule twice a day. And agni tundi vati and maha yograj guggul 1-1 tab twice a day.
