I have yellow teeth I want to make it white. And I have bad breathe. What should I do? Please help.
Here is home remedy for brighter teeth--- mix several teaspoons of baking soda with enough fresh lemon juice (or water) to make a paste. Wipe your teeth and any extra saliva off of them with a paper towel. Put a good amount of paste onto your toothbrush and apply. Leave the paste on for 1 minute, then rinse, so as to avoid the acid effecting enamel. If you are using just water you can leave it on for up to 3 minutes. For faster result you can go for teeth bleaching from dentist. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- bad breath can be reduced or prevented if you: - practice good oral hygiene. - brush twice a day with fluoride toothpaste to remove food debris and plaque. - don't forget to brush the tongue, too. - replace your toothbrush every 2 to 3 months or after an illness. - use floss or an interdental cleaner to remove food particles and plaque between teeth once a day. - see your dentist regularly -- at least twice a year. He or she will conduct an oral exam and professional teeth cleaning and will be able to detect and treat periodontal disease, dry mouth, or other problems that may be the cause of bad mouth odor. - drink lots of water. This will keep your mouth moist. - chewing gum (preferably sugarless) stimulates the production of saliva, which helps wash away food particles and bacteria.

Hello, your uncle needs to visit a dentist and get a full mouth x-ray done. Depending on the bone levels you can go for removable or fixed dentures or implant. Let the dentist make the decision. The cost can range from Rs. 25,000-60,000/- depending on the case the popularity of the dentist or the location of the clinic.

Usually for tooth extractions or oral surgical procedures sometimes it is required to stop medication but for RCT usually no medication has to be stopped. The doctor might prescribe antibiotics or painkillers. You must consult your cardiologist.

Hello doctor.
I am 23 year old. I am suffering with tmj problem from last one month I am feeling like my hand n head ...
I will be able to comment/ suggest you better if I examin you as TMJ is a complex apparatus and even a small flaw is in functionality (even a high dental filling) or a single malaligned tooth can lead to sever problems.

Usually amalgam fillings do not cause Metallic taste it is quite possible that you are just preceding it because of psychological reasons there can be many other causes of Metallic taste suggest use of antibiotic gel or tablets so if you are under any medications you should consider their use as one of the cost.

I am 32 years old lady. I have a cavity in my wisdom tooth. Can this be filled instead of removing as two of my hind teeth had been already removed and I have heard that removing of teeth makes eye sight weak. My eyes are already weak. So what shall I do?

MDS
Dentist, Kota
There is no relation between extraction of tooth and eye sight. Cavity in the wisdom tooth can be filled if the tooth is in self cleansing area. But if filling of the tooth wont help you much then extraction is the solution.
