Bladder stones are crystallized minerals formed in the bladder. They develop when urine becomes concentrated and waste products are left in the bladder. The symptoms are frequent urination along with burning sensation and occurrence of blood sometimes. Bladder stones may develop due to UTIs, damaged urethra, enlarged prostate or kidney infections. To avoid formation of bladder stones it is advisable to drink sufficient amount of water regularly.

Bladder stones occur in adults primarily, with ages above 30 years.
