SBL Podophyllum Peltatum 0/9 LM

Podophyllum is a homeopathic remedy made from the plant May apple and advised when the intestines, rectum and the liver are affected.
The following are the conditions where the remedy works

Abdomen
Gastroenteritis with vomiting of bile and colic pain in the stomach
Can lie comfortably only on stomach
Swelling of the liver, jaundice with pain in the liver region better by rubbing part.
The gas in the colon shifts from one place to other and there is a rumbling sensation
Heart burn, gagging and empty eructation with vomiting of milk

Rectum
Loose motions early in the morning, stools are watery, sticky and offensive, it is very profuse and gushes out
Prolapse of the rectum before or after stools
Constipation alternating with loose motions
Ulceration and piles of the intestines
Used for Cholera like infections causing severe loose motions.
Mainly worse in the morning and in hot weather.

Female
Pain in uterus and right ovary
Hmorrhoids, with prolapsus and during pregnancy

Dose- As prescribed by the physician. Can be taken with allopathic medicines.

Precautions
Maintain half an hour gap between food/drink/any other medicines and homeopathic medicine.
