OSMIUM DILUTION
Osmium is a remedy prepared from the element osmium. It is known for treating respiratory complaints like severe cough. This homeopathic remedy is used for the following complaints:

Respiratory

Respiratory complaints with irritation and inflammation of the respiratory organs producing mucus in strings
Convulsive cough that is very loud, noisy, hard and dry with feeling as though a membrane was torn off from the throat
The cough makes the whole body shake and is very violent.
There is hoarseness of voice and pain in vocal cords while talking. (laryngitis)

Skin

It is also used in skin complaints like dryness of skin with itching i.e Eczema
There is fold like attachment in the growing nails
Itching of the pimples.
Excessive perspiration which has a bad odour.

Eyes

Conjunctivitis with redness and pain in the eyes.
Increase in the pressure in the eyes causing headache (Glaucoma).
Dim sight and pain and increase in the secretions form the eye.

Dose- As prescribed by physician. Can be taken along with allopathic medicines.

Precautions

Maintain half an hour gap between food/drink/any other medicines and homeopathic medicine.
Avoid any strong smell in the mouth while taking medicine e.g. camphor, garlic, onion, coffee, hing
