KALIUM NITRICUM DILUTION

Kalium Nitricum or nitrate of potash is a chemical which is known to have anti asthmatic and action on kidneys. This remedy is used for following conditions

Head

Headache with vertigo
Sensation as if falling to right side and backwards

Eyes

Vision is clouded (cataract)
Burning and watering of eyes

Nose

Red with itching esp. right nose. Also good for nasal polyps.
Sneezing.
Swollen feeling; worse, right nostril.

Extremities

Swelling all over the body due to water retention
Sudden glandular swellings all over the body
Tearing and sticking in shoulders and joints.
Hands and fingers seem swollen

Respiratory

Very good for asthma with severe breathlessness.
Dry morning cough with severe pain in the chest and body expectoration.
Spasmodic croup.

Urine

Increased urination; thus used in treatment of diabetes.

Digestion

Loose motions after eating veal.
Severe painful loose motions, colic and dysentery.

Female

Menses are increased with blackish blood flow.
Flow comes too early, heavy flow with severe backache
Burning pains in region of ovaries only during periods

Dose- As prescribed by physician. Can be taken along with other allopathic medicines.

Precautions

Maintain half an hour gap between food/drink/any other medicines and homeopathic medicine.
Avoid any strong smell in the mouth while taking medicine e.g. camphor, garlic, onion, coffee, hing.

Similar drugs- Lycopodium, Allium sativum and Antimony iod.
