It is dysmenorrhea. Causes may be anaemia or hormonal disbalance. Better to give her iron rich diet. The best natural sources are green leaves. Max leaves should be given by way of salad or sabzi. To support it further, I recommend to my own patients, ayurveda kasisadi or raj pravartini vati 2 bid with kumaryasava and lohasava. Vati may be started 5 days prior to expected date for 5, 7 or 10 days or till periods come. Long walks, deep breathing suggested. No heavy food. Deep fries etc. Avoid report after 4 weeks or after next period. For personalised details, come thru private consultancy.

As a matter of fact it is good that you didn't conceive so fast because after one d&c you should give atleast 6 to 9 months gap to get pregnant again have patience you will conceive again try to have sexual relationship every alternate day from day 10 to 20 of your cycle considering first day of the periods as day one

Bleeding has occurred with whatever uterus lining might be there and we can consider it to be normal

Lactation and anaemia may be the cause of amenorrhea .as your child is 16 months old stop breast feeding and give him top feed. You should take a protein rich healthy diet ,eat green leafy vegetables and fruits .take regular supplementation of iron (tab orofer xt) and iron. Do your pregnancy test to rule out Pregnancy.

Eating disorders leads to hormonal imbalance right? Then is it that hormonal imbalance also causes tenderness of breast/nipple? Plsss help. I need advice pls!

MD - Obstetrtics & Gynaecology

As you r just 14 years of age, your hormonal secretion is not yet established yet, causing hormonal imbalance and nipple pain. You can take pain killer if pain is severe other wise it will go without any treatment.

My wife aged 30 years is taking Unwanted 21 contraceptive tablets regularly as per its course before having sex. So while having sex we are not using any other contraceptive methods like condoms etc.

Thats ok. In a married couple one contraceptive is enough and if she has been having the oral pills and is having no problems with it. Usually the tablet is to be taken once in 24 hours. And it's intake is not related to sex! the unwanted 21 tablets are routine oc pills like mala n, mala d etc. So they have to be taken daily for the 21 days without break, and in these 21 days even if sex doesnot happen on a day or two, the pills have to be taken without a break to complete the pack. I think you are confused between unwanted 21 and unwanted 72 tablets. Unwanted 21 are regular oral contraceptive pills which are taken for 21 days, folowed by 7 day break cycle. Whereas the unwanted 72 is an emergency contraceptive pill, which is taken" after" sex. But. Unwanted 72 is meant for couples who have very infrequent sex, say once or twice a month. If a married lady, or a woman having frequent sexual activity takes unwanted 72 after or before each sex, it will unwanted 72 after each act of sex, she will create havoc for her menses. And her menses will become very irregular.

Hello. The chances of her getting pregnant are almost nil as 1) according to her last period it was her 17 and 18th day of her menstrual cycle when you had unprotected intercourse and if her periods are regular then these are not the fertile days and 2) taking unwanted 72 within 6 hours is very effective method of contraception with less than one percent chances of pregnancy. For pain, I need to know where exactly is she having stomach pain. If upper abdomen (above naval) then could be due to gastritis but if lower abdomen (below naval) could be related to periods.
