Hello lybrate-user, pcod or pcos is polycystic ovarian disease. This condition arises due to inability of the follicles to rupture and release the egg in uterine cavity to be fertilized. The unruptured egg form a cyst. If this process continues, it gives rise to many cysts in the ovary and hence the name" polycystic" ovarian disease. This condition is characterised by absence of menses, increase in weight, increase in blood sugar levels and darkening of skin. This condition is treatable and requires a thorough course of medications and regular exercise. You can perform yoga exercises which has proved to give good results in such conditions.

Dear lybrate-user, agrawal, immunity developed by chickenpox infection in childhood gives life long immunity (whether you acquired chickenpox in childhood, unless immunity is compromised. You r probably in incubation period or averted inform, due to good immunity. Hence forward use face mask, hand glouse while examination. Acyclovir or fenovir can be taken as precautionary measure I advise wait &watch in your case as we doctors r exposed repeatedly unless diabetic or with compromised immunity. Immunotherapy sos for long-term sos.

U need to have regular sex in order to get pregnant i. E. 3-4 times a week and you need to wait for full one year before you seek medical help in this matter. You can follow calender method to find out when you can get pregnant. If a women’s menstrual cycle varies from 26days to 31days cycle, The shortest cycle (26days) minus18days=8th day. The longest cycle (31days) minus 10days=21st day Thus, 8th to 21st day of each cycle counting from first day of menstrual period is considered as fertile period.

Painless breast lumps require detailed examination to reach definitive diagnosis Show to a surgeon Clinical examination by surgeon Radiological test (USG breasts /MAMMOGRAPHY) Pathological examination (FNAC/Excision biopsy) This completes the diagnosis and then t/t is planned.

Starting of periods means no pregnancy, do not worry, delay in periods is due to hormonal imbalance. Take proper diet, fresh fruits, sound sleep, avoid late night work, overexertion, keep watch on weight. Best luck.

Please give a gap of 6 months. Keep your thyroid hormone levels normal before you start trying again. There is very less chance of repeat abortion.
