1. Regular knee quadriceps exercises (static and knee bending). 2. Ice pack application will help 3.Medications like Cartigen DN and Enzomac forte will help. 4. Intraarticular injections offer great help. Local ice packs are the best alternative to traditional pain killers. You can take tab. Ultracet twice daily if you want. Get yourself evaluated for osteoporosis and hypovitaminosis D and Thyroid issues. These are also potential pain generators.

Hot water compression thrice daily for 1 week. 2. Spine extension exercises. 3. Rest for 5 days. 4. Medications like Myoril, Etova MR, Enzomac and Neurokind LC will help.

I got hit in my knee and now when I try to bend my knee it pains. How to treat this problem now?
Get x-rays to rule out bony injury. Medications like Enzomac will help. Apply local ice packs. Gentle quadriceps exercises to start with. You should be able to bend fully by 2-3 weeks. If your problems persist beyond 1 weeks, then visit Orthopaedic Surgeon for clinical evaluation to rule out ligamentous injury.
