Hello, there are few food items which helps you in boosting up your memory power, increases focus & concentration, so try to take more of these: 1. Choline: good sources of choline include liver, milk, eggs and peanuts. 2. Vitamin b: b vitamins are not synthesized in the body, and thus need to be obtained from food. While niacin is present in corn and other grains, the bioavailability of the nutrient is much less than it is in protein-rich sources. The role of vitamin b9 (folic acid) during pregnancy is vital to normal development of the nervous system in the fetus. Good sources of folate include liver, ready-to-eat breakfast cereals, beans, asparagus, spinach, broccoli, and orange juice. Animal protein products are a good source of vitamin b12 (cobalamine), particularly organ meats such as kidney or liver. Other good sources are fish, eggs, and dairy products. 3. Vitamin a: the foods highest in vitamin a are any pigmented fruits and vegetables and leafy green vegetables. 4. Zinc: zinc is a very important part of the brain as well; many regions of the brain, such as the cerebellum, and hippocampus have neurons that contain this nutrient. Zinc is needed to maintain normal vitamin a levels in blood plasma. Sources of zinc are meats, certain seafood, whole grains, baked beans, oatmeal, milk (low-fat), cashewnut, almonds, kidney-beans, cheese, peas, spinach, sesame seeds, pumpkin seeds, flaxseeds. Medication: take homoeopathic medicine for increasing memory - anacardium 200/ once daily.

Hello, Thank you for your kindest gesture. The BP can be managed appropriately by medications, so stick to the prescription of your doctor. Pain and numbness in body can be due to various causes. But most commonly in my practise. It due to deficiency of Vitamin D and Vitamin B12. So check and correct them. It simple.

For water rention restrict your salt intake and increase your water intake. There is no single diet chart for everyone. To plan a specific diet we do collect lot of information like height, weight, food frequency, digestive history, medical history, likes, dislike, lifestyle, eating habits. Remember one thing to follow a diet it should be personalized according to person's body type and not generalized. Starting with there is no pills or powder or shake which can help you to lose weight in a healthy way. To lose weight eat an hour within walking up and dinner at least 2 hours before you sleep. Avoiding eating anything after dinner. Breakfast should be your king size have good complex carbohydrates and protein rich. Eat every 2 hours small frequent meal do help in weight loss. And do not overeat. One can come to ideal body weight with few lifestyle modification. Have green tea only 2 cups a day. For exercise I would say diet plays 80 % role and exercise plays 20 % role in losing weight. Personal advise on gym. You should not make your body habituated with machines rather do simple walk or surya namaskar or planks. So only with healthy eating one can lose weight.

Constant cold for last two three years is suggestive of either allergy to something in your surrounding or low immunity. I suggest you get your allergy test done. Also low vitamin d levels can cause leg pain and lower your immunity. Please get your blood checked for vitamin d3 levels.

Quinoa's also a great source of fiber and carbohydrates, You can eat it like a breakfast cereal with cinnamon and honey, or make it savory and serve it in place of rice or pasta. Berries Antioxidants such as vitamins A, C, and E help protect against oxidative stress and free radicals that form in the body during strenuous physical activity—and berries are one of the best sources out there, (Bonus: Eating lots of antioxidants also seem to help preserve muscle strength as you age, according to a 2009 study" Choose berries with the most intense colors—blackberries, raspberries, blueberries—because they have more of those phytochemicals and protective substances, she says. 1) have sweetened warm milk with jayphal at night. 2) apply cow ghee on soles of feet. 3) have a warm water bath before sleeping. 4) stop watching tv at least 3 hrs before sleep. 5) go to bed before 10 pm. 6) don't have tea/ coffee/ alcohol after 7 pm. 7) have early & light meals 8) go for shirodhara at a panchakarma centre near u. These all will help you sleep.

Take panchakarma treatment from nearby ayurveda centres. Do yoga asanas they are very much helpful in reducing stubborn belly fat. Is the uterus removal surgery is harmful anyway at the age of 50-55? Are there some chances of tumor in uterus due to over loss of blood?

Dear Lybrate user, Uterus removal surgery should be done if it is clearly indicated. It should not be done just for sake of it. Over loss of blood doesn't cause tumour in uterus to appear. It's rather tumour in uterus that causes over loss of blood.

Hi apply ketoconazole lotion on your scalp. Apply maha bhringraj oil on your scalp and massage then give hot water fomentation. 1-1 drop of cow ghee in both nostrils at night time before sleep. Take pranacharya allergin capsule 1-1 twice a day. Take lots of proteins like soyabean. Egg white. Etc. Avoid tea. Coffee. Spicy food. Fermented food. Junk food. Apply only ayurvedic shampoo on your scalp. Do pranayama early morning.

Sir, My age is 23 my weight is 59 kg my problem is that I am suffering from stomach problems i.e. gastric from many times I feel like vomiting. I go for stools at one time in morning than also I suffer a lot. By that I feel ashamed to go anywhere and I eat anything half stomach. 1.Take bland diet, Avoid foods which cause acidity like spicy, oily, fatty and junk foods, onion, garlic, citrus fruit like orange grape, lemon, tomato, cucumber, raddish, vinegar, pickle etc 2.Have proper Breakfast, Don’t skip or postpone your meal, Take home made food, Avoid food and water from outside, 3.Eat food slowly, don’t rush, take smaller meals at frequent intervals like 5-6 meals per day, and don't overeat. Limit fluid intake during meal4.Drink plenty of water (8-10 glass daily). Take your meal regularly and timely. Avoid fasting, Don’t skip your breakfast. 5. Stop smoking, consumption of alcohol and tobacco, excess tea or coffee, carbonated drinks if you are having,6. Avoid stress, have adequate rest, sleep for 7-8 hours daily in night, go for regular exercise, practice yoga/meditation 7. Take one tablet of pan40 in the morning before breakfast daily for few days

There is no correlation between the fish oil capsules & urinary tract infection. In women, the chances of Urinary tract infection are high.

Take homoeo medicine belladonna 30 (6 to 8 pills) --3 times (hourly) in the morning and arsenicum alb 30---3 times (hourly) in the evening for 3 days. If the fever continues after 3 days, have a check-up with a doctor.

My uncle is 74 years old, and he met an road accident before 4months, and injured spinal cord t12& t14, and buttocks bone broke. Take him to hospital at mysore jss they operation for spinal cord successfully. After 1 month he discharged to home. But now he was (from 20days) not eating any thing and losing his memory, not identifying anyone. Please give me a suggestions, we are from very poor family we have not money for further treatment.

It is very common to get a mental depression after such accidents. Even for a young man, it will be difficult to accept the sudden changes in life styles such as restrictions in movements (to b bed-ridden for months), dependency on others for activities of daily living, pains associated with surgery or post-operative care, disfigurement of body, etc. Due to which he may loose hope and interest in life leading to depression causing loss of memory and changes in sleep and hunger, etc. Think of a 74-year-old man in such a situation. My suggestions are 1. He must have more social, emtional and physical supports from his family members, friends and social network than ever before in his life. 2. Since your economic status is not good, you have to find a nearest hospital or a qualified physician at your location to give symptomatic treatment for your uncle till the end.
