Hello, Hair loss is a subtle metabolic disorder. It may be related to disease such as diabetes, for example, or following typhoid infection. It may be due to some fungal infection on the scalp, or to hormonal imbalance. A deficiency of calcium, magnesium, and zinc may affect the nourishment of the hair enough that the hair starts to fall out. And there is a definite hereditary factor, in which genes appear to trigger hair loss at a certain age. ALOE VERA: To reduce pitta and preserve the health of your hair, drink Aloe Vera juice (⅓ cup preferably with a pinch of cumin) 3 times a day for about 3 months. You can also scrape out the gel from an aloe plant with a spoon, and apply to your hair and scalp (and face too). ONION PASTE: Onion paste helps you cleanse your scalp and increases hair growth. You just need to add onions in the mixer and prepare a paste. Apply the paste on your scalp. Leave it for 20 minutes and rinse with water. GUAVA LEAVES: Add guava leaves to hot water and boil it for a few minutes till the time the water turns black. Using cotton, apply the solution on your scalp. Repeat this process two to three times in a week. AMLA JUICE: Amla does wonders to the hair and is one of the best cures for baldness. Take equal portions of fresh Amla juice and Lemon juice and apply the mixture on your scalp. Leave it on for 30 minutes and rinse off. COCONUT and ALMOND MILK: Take 5-10 almonds and blend them with appropriate amount of tender coconut malai. Apply this nourishing hair pack to provide Vitamin E and many other nutrients to your hair. HONEY and EGG YOLK: Mix honey and egg yolk together and massage on your scalp for 30 minutes. Egg yolk will help stimulate hair growth. MINERAL SUPPLEMENTS: You may also be able to improve the condition of your hair by taking mineral supplements to be sure you have enough calcium, magnesium, and zinc. Take a supplement containing approximately the following daily dose of minerals: calcium 1,200 mg. Magnesium 600 mg. Zinc 60 mg. Take these supplements at bedtime. Stay healthy, stay strong.

Hello. The scars and the pigmentation on the face are treatable. It's better to get it examined first so that we can identify the type of skin, scars and if they are hyper pigmented, atrophic or ice pick scars. The treatment are of various kind like ranging from simple scrubs and mild peels for the face to the major interventions such as laser therapy, dermaroller, subcision or peeling. These depend on the type of the scars and which kind you opt for. You can consult me online or text me with pictures for further details.

So.
Should be in tandem. With age, your hair growth cycle shows signs of slowing down and factors like age, disease, and hormonal changes among others affect the pace at which an individual hair follicle moves through the 3 phases of the hair cycle. A disruption in your hair cycle can give rise to loss of hair that’s rapid and unexpected. Hair loss or alopecia can affect both men and women. So what can cause your hair to fall at an alarming rate? The reasons behind hair loss could be many, but here are 6 major ones: 1. Lack of protein in your diet When you exclude protein from your diet, your body starts to conserve the protein that it has by altering the growth cycle of your hair. In such cases, your hair enters into the resting stage, resulting in zero hair growth. In India, 9 out of 10 people are said to suffer from low amounts of protein in their diet, with 91% vegetarians reporting protein deficiency. 2. Iron deficiency Iron plays a very important role in the transportation of oxygen to the different organs of the body. Lack of iron in your diet (which is the principle reason behind anaemia) can give rise to several health problems including hair loss. Your body attempts to direct oxygen to important organs so as to support their functioning. As a result, your scalp witnesses a low supply of oxygen, which causes hair loss. 3. Vitamin D-3 deficiency Deficiency of vitamin D-3 gives rise to a type of hair loss called Telogen Effluvium (TE). This is a temporary hair thinning phenomenon that takes place when the all the hair on your scalp enter the resting phase at the same time, subsequently causing you to shed a large amount of hair later on. 4. Smoking Smoking can also affect the health of your hair, especially the rate at which it falls and the number of strands lost in a day. A research carried out by the Harvard School of Public Health has revealed that smoking can cause a rise in a hormone called dihydrotestosterone (DHT). An increase in DHT level prevents new hair cells from growing and causes hair follicles to reduce in size with each hair cycle. As a result, the area on your scalp that gets affected by DHT experiences a lack of hair growth. 5. Use of testosterone supplements in gym Intake of testosterone in the form of supplements and injections to build muscle mass can trigger hair loss in men. This takes place when the testosterone in these supplements gets changed into DHT, thereby affecting your hair loss rate and amount. 6. Past illnesses (dengue, TB and typhoid) Falling of hair can also be brought on by illnesses such as typhoid, TB and dengue as the hair growth cycle comes to a stop. Hormonal or metabolic stress that is experienced during the course of such diseases may cause hairfall. What are the treatments available to cure hair loss? 1. Hair transplant Hair transplant is a minimally invasive surgical technique that transfers hair follicles taken from other parts of your body to the balding area. Known by the name of Follicular Unit Transplantation, this hair loss treatment can help to bring back the natural appearance of a fuller head of hair. Hair follicles are harvested using two procedures- follicular unit extraction and strip harvesting. Procedure can vary from 4-8 hours or more depending on the case. 2. Platelet- Rich Plasma (PRP) Platelet- Rich Plasma (PRP) is another treatment alternative that can reverse hair loss. It’s a simple non-surgical procedure that lasts about 60-90 minutes. In this form of hair treatment, the patient’s own blood cells, more specifically blood platelets are injected into the scalp. Usually 8 sittings are required with each sitting being 2 weeks apart for better results. 3. Low Level Laser (Light) Therapy (LLLT) This form of hair therapy utilises light energy of a specific wavelength and threshold to stimulate cellular activity, thereby promoting hair growth. Various controlled clinical tests have revealed its effectiveness in encouraging hair growth in both the genders.

Silicone Cheek Implants - For A Fuller Looking Face!

Silicone Cheek Implants - For A Fuller Looking Face!

Today is you don’t like something about the structure of your face, it is possible to change it with cosmetic surgery. People who have long, narrow faces or those who have undergone a traumatic accident which disfigured their face can opt for cheek implants to give their face a fuller, more symmetric appearance. Some people may also choose to have cheek implants if they feel their cheeks are too flat.

Cheek implants are of two types. The doctor may either transfer fat from one part of your body to your cheeks or use synthetic materials such as polyethene or silicon. The procedure may be performed under local or general anaesthesia and usually takes about 45 minutes. The surgeon will first make an incision in either your upper lip or lower eyelid. A pocket is then formed into which the implant is inserted. Stitches and metal screws may also be used to help the muscles support the implant. Finally, the incision is closed with stitches. In case, the cheek implant is part of a larger procedure such as a facelift or forehead lift, the implants may be inserted through incisions made for these procedures.

After the procedure, you will experience temporary bruising and swelling for a few days. You may also have mild discomfort or pain and feel as though your cheeks are numb. A liquid diet is usually advised for the first 2-3 days after the surgery to allow the cheek muscles to heal. You should be able to resume your normal lifestyle within a week but it may take more than a month for the swelling to subside completely and the results of the surgery to become noticeable.

As with any other surgical procedure, cheek implants also have their own risks. Some potential complications of the surgery include bleeding and infection, changes in sensation levels, damage to the bone and ligaments, scarring, allergic reactions and accumulation of blood under the skin.

The effects of a silicone cheek implant are permanent and will last a lifetime. However, in rare cases of complications, the implant may get infected and need to be removed. The contours of the face may also change is the implant shifts from its position. In rare cases, an accident may also cause the implant to extrude out of the face. Hence, it is important to maintain a relationship with your cosmetic surgeon and maintain all appointments for follow-up checks.

Lemon juice contains vitamin C, which is known to bleach the skin and get rid of dark spots. ... Use a cotton ball to apply lemon juice to the dark rings around your eyes and then rinse it off after 10 minutes. Do this until you lighten the dark circles under eyes.
