Is hair dandruff a cause of fungal infection or just a matter of dirt and dying skin cells? How to reduce it?

Physiotherapist,
Is hair dandruff a cause of fungal infection or just a matter of dirt and dying skin cells? How to reduce it?
The real cause of dandruff is actually a yeast-like fungus, malassezia globosa, which lives on your scalp, feeding on skin oils. Unclean scalp is reason to develop fungus. So to overcome dandruff keep your scalp clean. Take head bath on alternative days.

There are good results for it. You can also try applying coconut oil and massage into scalp for at least 30 minutes. Mix coconut and castor oil and apply this to scalp every alternate days.

Hello. I am 19 year old (male). And I have acne problems on my face since 4-5 years. What should I do?

Hello.
I am 19 year old (male). And I have acne problems on my face since 4-5 years. What should I do?
Do let me know if you also have blackheads with pimples? and what current medications and remedies you already tried to treat acne? acne is a common problem in teen. Almost everybody will get pimples during their teen years. First, don't try to self treat acne. Some popular nonprescription acne lotions, cleansers and other skin products can cause a serious reaction (rare), mostly it is normal to have acne in teenage. For pimples it's important to wash your face twice daily to remove impurities, dead skin cells, and extra oil from your skin's surface, avoid touching your face or propping your cheek or chin on your hands. Not only can you spread bacteria, you can also irritate the already inflamed facial skin. Never pick or pop pimples with your fingers, as it can lead to infection and scarring. A dietary therapy with the right medications for pimples can also help a lot. Kojic acid (a natural skin lightener derived from mushroom extract), arbutin (also called bearberry extract), and vitamin c (ascorbic acid) are great alternative ingredients to lighten scars left by acne. Don't use vitamin e or any self prescribed preparations on scars or pimples. Increasing the intake of omega-3 fatty acids through a diet significantly rich in fish and seafood results in lower rates of an inflammatory disease like acne. A low-glycemic-index diet also reduces acne risk.

Sir I have skin problem on my foot. There is ao much itching on my foot sir what should I do give me some advice some...
Hello Lybrate user. I thing it is eczema or it may be fungal infection. Protect your feet to come in contact with so much of water or any detergents all the time. You need to take proper Homeopathic treatment for proper cure of your disease. Only home medicines will not help. Still Vaseline will help to come the part in contact with so much of water or other things.

Use tretin cream at night. Acne or pimples. Due to hormonal changes. Oily skin causes it. Common in adolescent age. May occur in adults also. Food like Oily foods, ice cream, chocolate and sweets increase it. Treatment depends on the grade of pimples or acne. So, please consult me in my clinic or consult me by direct online consultation by sending photos as it's a must to see which grade of pimples or acne for accurate diagnosis and treatment.

I was in my adolacent age and have trouble with acne, skin tone. I tried everything but nothing seemed to be enough. My mother gave me something special that made me not only acbe proof but also gave me confidence to love my body. It is a very natural remedy, which will make you fall in love with yourself.
The mystery box contains mixture of gram flour (beson) and rose water with curd, you may apply it as a pack over your body and face, leave it for sometime to dry and then gently massage whole body and rinse it gently.

This is not a beauty product, it is helpfull in many skin problems like: -

- Tanning,
- Reduces oiliness,
- Removes unwanted facial hair,
- Fight pimples
- Anti-inflammatory: dermatitis, eczema, pores,
- Anti-ageing: reduces fine lines, wrinkles
- Aroma of rose water helps in anxiety and promotes emotional wellbeing,
- Moisturizes skin,
- Fades blemishes and pigmentation,
- Reduces dark circle.

This helps promote a confident lifestyle which is very important of all individuals today.
I am satisfied with results it has given me so I wanted to share this mystery with everyone. For more details you can contact me on this site.
