Hi Please start doing lower body exercises like squats ,planks and lunges. Also lie down and do cycling and leg lifts. Also control your diet and eat less fatty food and non veg. Eat more salad and fruits.

My daughter is having tight potty from last 1 month after consulting doctor he prescribed Evict-syrup for loose potty & appigest syrup. Which we are continuing till now & doctor also suggested to stop cow milk feed. But she is not recovering completely as when we don't give my child Evict syrup she used to do tight potty with great pain. So kindly suggest as I think she is getting addicted to said syrup for loose potty &her weight is now 7.9 Kg & aged 13 months.

Please include fibre in her diet give her more of daliya khichdi fruits and vegetables do not give thick Dals or anything made of Maida. She may be lactose intolerant you should stop cow milk and instead give curd and chaas. Also give her formula milk which is lactose free and then see. Make sure she does a lot of activities too.

Hi We should be active the whole day. We should walk at least 10000 steps daily to maintain a good metabolism.

Hi Fruits are best consumed on an empty stomach as they provide the necessary fibre and also keep you full for an hour .So eat it either in morning before breakfast or 2 hrs after lunch or breakfast but avoid after evening 7. Also avoid fruit juices as they do not have fibre and only increase sugar levels.

Sir, I want to lose my weight because my weight is 82 kg and wanna make it 60 kg so what should I do for it.
You have to make a balance between diet and exercise .Also rule out any medical issues by doing a blood test that tests Hba1c ,thyroid arc and get back with reports. Also for a start stop taking sugar in any form. Eat less carbs in dinner and do 40 mins activity daily. Sleep for 8 hours. No junk or fried food.

Now a days everyone suggests that we should not eat wheat because it contains gluten. Is it true? I experienced that when I eat bhakri made out of jeera or Bajra my sugar level are almost normal but when I eat wheat roti or white rice then it increases please tell me the truth.

In case of bajra fibre and iron are more compared to wheat and so is protein .Hence it has a lower glycemic index then wheat so it does not raise sugar levels fast as wheat.in fact you can also include jowar in your diet or any other millet. Wheat is good for you or not ,depends on your tolerance of gluten since childhood. Glycemic index of wheat is more so raises sugar levels faster. So you can make multigrain flour at home using millets.

Yes it's ok but do prefer jogging in a garden and around trees. Also remove the mask after 15 mins to take a long breathe.

Hi lybrate-user we need to identify cause and find a long term solution like follow a strict plan for 3 months and then maintain on your own. I suggest pls take a private appointment. FOR a start drink more warm water specially empty stomach. Avoid oily and starchy food avoid any thing that is packaged. Love raw veggies and have them whenever possible.
