I had started it at the age of 17. But sir during mid half of 22 .8 month ago .one day I felt severe pain in the left half head back side .a shooting pain. From.there it goes to whole head. I was in a severe pain those days at single point on half head. I went to an neurologist .he ordered CT scan of head. It was shown some sinus in my head. Doctor says it is normal. At that time my bp was 150/100. That time I left habit of masturbation but used to have night fall daily basis. After 2 month when I was doing yoga .one day I had frequent urination upto 30 times and weight loss on third day. Sugar was tested it was normal. So I had urinary tract infection. I had taken medicine for it but it was reoccurring. And also I started feeling bones and muscle pain in whole body. And numbness and tingling im whole body along with light abdominal pain. So I had my uric acid test .it was normal. But my urgency to pass urine was more frequent and dark colored reddish urine. again I had urine culture it was normal. But infection was with 4-5 pus cell. So I had ultrasound of abdomen and prostate .it came mild prostatomegaly 22. 6 cc and right renal cortical cyst. I had MRI plain of abdomen. It also came with right renal cortical cyst. But my problems of numbness and tingling in whole body increasing day by day. I am having excessive hair growth on whole body even on eyebrows and head but retarded growth on moustache. I am having more bone and muscle pain including mouth along with inflammation in body. Chest pain. Chest and abdomen enlargement too. Much.abdomen is looking too bad. Since 8 month my appetite is reduced. When I was well I had 7 chappati at a time. Now from 8 month I am having 2 chappati at time. But still I am having chest and abdomen enlargement. Along with hair growth on whole body .with new hair growth. Sir I had my total blood testosterone it came 2.21 ng/ml. 2 month ago and cortisol 234ng/ml. FSH was 6.28 miu/ml. So in mid I took glginseng and shilajeet and daily intake of 1 kg mangoes. After 2 month I again had my test testosterone came 3.73ng/ml. Cortisol 153ng/ml. Prolactin 11.28 ng/ml. Tsh is 1.34. .but sir still I am having problems. My bp is 150/100 and sugar is lowering 66 after eating. Sir I am also noticing that my testicle size is reducing. They are now 2 cm very small. Sir my abdomen pain when I sit and when I drink and eat something. And left half head shooting pain. It pains a lot. Sir I think some hormonal problem is in my body. Control thyroid and control weight. At the same time consult infertility specialist to look for additional problems related to fertility of you and your husband. Treat that cause, if found.

Ayurvedic Herbs That Help You In Relieving Thyroid

Ayurvedic Herbs That Help You In Relieving Thyroid

Situated in the neck, the thyroid gland plays an important role in the body– it produces hormones required for regulating growth. Through its role, the thyroid gland influences most metabolic processes in the body. Problems of the thyroid gland can range from simple conditions such as goiter (enlargement of the thyroid glands) to something as fatal as cancer. The most common thyroid problem is the abnormal production of hormones.

Overproduction of hormones by the thyroid gland results in ‘hyperthyroidism’ whereas underproduction of hormones causes ‘hypothyroidism’. It is necessary to take steps to deal with thyroid problems as their complications can be severe at times.

Ayurveda is a time honored system of medicine, the treatments of which have holistic healing properties. Ayurvedic treatments are free from side effects as they do not contain synthetic ingredients. In case of thyroid problems, Ayurvedic remedies focus on balancing the production of hormones. The various doshas in the body – kapha, vata and pitta are balanced, so as to promote overall wellbeing.

The various Ayurvedic herbs that help with addressing thyroid problems are –

  1. Ashwagandha: Ashwagandha is a very widely used herb in Ayurvedic medicine due to its numerous benefits. It has anti-oxidizing properties which calm the brain and strengthen the immune system. It helps relieve symptoms of fatigue and inability to focus, both being indicators of thyroid problems.

  2. Bacopa: Bacopa is a herb that is extremely beneficial for the overall health of the nervous system. It helps you focus better while boosting memory capacity. It also helps in controlling and reducing inflammation.

  3. Black Walnut: Black walnut is rich in magnesium that helps in proper functioning of the thyroid gland, a deficiency of which causes thyroid problems.

  4. Bugleweed: A herb that is effective in treating cold and cough, bugleweed also has beneficial effects on the thyroid gland. It is often used as a sedative or an astringent.

  5. Coleus: Coleus is a herb that is rich in anti-oxidants, which help in minimizing free radical damage in the body. It helps in improving the functioning of the thyroid gland and also helps in the treatment of certain cardiovascular disorders.

  6. Echinacea: A herb that strengthens the immune system of the body, Echinacea plays a vital role in preventing thyroid problems. If you wish to discuss about any specific problem, you can consult an ayurveda and ask a free question.

Dear Mr. Lybrate-user, namaskar, you must ask the first question to a psychiatrist. Spine block injections are used to treat such discs which are not so bad in the mri but still causing problem to the patient. Or where the patient does not accept surgery despite an indication in the mri. This is a palliative measure to alleviate pain temporarily. For few weeks to few months. Can not be predicted by the doctor. The hashimoto's disease is treated by endocrinologists. He will be able to answer your question properly. Take care.

Gallstones are hardened deposits of digestive fluid that can form in your gallbladder. Your gallbladder is a small, pear-shaped organ on the right side of your abdomen, just beneath your liver. The gallbladder holds a digestive fluid called bile that's released into your small intestine. Gallstones range in size from as small as a grain of sand to as large as a golf ball. Some people develop just one gallstone, while others develop many gallstones at the same time. All cases of gallstones are not required to be operated upon. Homeopathy has specific medicines for the treatment of pathological gall bladder. They should first be treated with homeopathic medicines. Those cases that do not respond to the oral homeopathic treatment or get complications are to be treated surgically. Patients sometimes fear that the presence of stones in the gall bladder for a long time may cause cancer. This idea is totally a misconception. Some of Homoeopathic medicines used for gallstone treatment are Lycopodium, chelidonium, Carduus marianus, Pulsatilla, calcarea carb, chelidonium, etc  Medicine should be selected on the basis of symptom similarity only to get the complete cure.

Hi lybrate-user, your thyroid levels are slightly high it should be around 2.5 when trying to get pregnant. Diet won't help that much in hypothyroidism, you can try for gluten free diet. Ideally you should have thyroid medicine it will be corrected in a month don't worry it's not major issues. Don't stop talking medicine without consulting doctor.

Cholecystitis is an inflammation of the gallbladder wall; it may be either acute or chronic. It is almost always associated with cholelithiasis, or gallstones, which lodge in the gallbladder, cystic duct, or common bile duct. Lithiasis (stone formation) in the gallbladder is called cholelithiasis. Gallstones are formed in the gallbladder but may pass distally into other parts of the biliary tract such as the cystic duct, common bile duct, pancreatic duct or the ampulla of Vater. Inflammation of the gallbladder can be caused by gallstones, excessive alcohol use, infections, or even tumors that cause bile buildup. But the most common cause of cholecystitis is gallstones. The body can react to the gallstone irritation by causing the gallbladder walls to become swollen and painful. Treatment For symptomatic stones: Laparoscopic cholecystectomy or sometimes stone dissolution using ursodeoxycholic acid For asymptomatic stones: Expectant management Most asymptomatic patients decide that the discomfort, expense, and risk of elective surgery are not worth removing an organ that may never cause clinical illness. However, if symptoms occur, gallbladder removal (cholecystectomy) is indicated because pain is likely to recur and serious complications can develop.
