Ectopic pregnancy: Causes and symptoms

Ectopic pregnancy happens if the egg implants itself in the fallopian tube in place of the uterus. That's why this form of pregnancy is called a tubal pregnancy as well. Many a time, it may also implant itself in the belly, ovary or the cervix. If the egg is allowed to develop in the fallopian tube, it brings about the bursting of the tube, leading to instances of heavy bleeding.

What really causes this condition?

In this type of pregnancy, the cause isn't always easy to arrive at. In many cases, certain conditions have been found to bring about this pregnancy and these are:

- Damages to the fallopian tubes in the form of scarring and inflammation due to a preceding medical infection, condition or surgery

- Imbalances in the body's hormone levels

- Abnormalities in the genes

- Birth defects

- Medical problems that have an effect on the shape and condition of the reproductive organs and fallopian tubes

- Though it's rare, ectopic pregnancy can occur while using an intrauterine device or system for birth control

- Inflammation of your reproductive system such as pelvic inflammatory disease

How do you know that you suffer from one?

In terms of signs that will help you to easily identify whether you're having an ectopic pregnancy, the initial signs are:

- Light bleeding from your vagina

- Pain in the abdomen or in the pelvic region, which tends to occur after 6-8 weeks of a missed period

The other symptoms of this condition reveal themselves as you progress through the pregnancy and include,

- Dizziness or fainting as a result of internal bleeding

- Shoulder pain brought on by bleeding in the abdominal region

- Signs of shock

- Worsening of pelvic or belly pain

- Heavy vaginal bleeding

Additionally, a person with ectopic pregnancy also experience signs associated with early pregnancy such as:

- Nausea

- Tender breasts

- Fatigue

- Missed period

- Increased in frequency of urination

You just need to quit smoking because it is harmful even when you smoke one cigarette. Just because you do not have a problem as yet, it does not mean that smoking is alright. You are obviously functioning on a reactive mode i.e. you will stop only when you have a problem. At that time it will become too late and you may have a permanent problem and will be stuck with it for the rest of your life. Be proactive: anyway, if something is not good for you why do it in the first place? Just quit is my best advice​.

Excessive sweating could be due to 1. Anxiety, nervousness 2 obesity, diabetes, thyroid problem, 3. Alcoholism or due to effect of some anti hypertensive and psychiatric drugs 4. Hello, As i don't know the ingredient of fat-go and it's reliability, can't give any remarks! It's good to reduce weight at right time as many problems are directly related to overweight! Read the following guidelines and implement them in your routine: Management: 1: Drink plenty of water (at least 2-3 l/d) or other calorie-free beverages. 2: Be choosy about nighttime snacks. 3: Enjoy your favorite foods. 4: Have 6 meals per day - 3 main courses and 3 snack meals (snack meals should be healthy). 5: Do regular exercises daily (start with light and later may be little vigorous) . Exercise decreases the stress hormone in your body, burns calories and also increases the blood circulation. Preferably brisk walking, swimming, cycling, skipping. 6: Eat seasonal fruits. Fruit helps to satisfy your sweet tooth thanks to its natural sugars, while fresh vegetables help you fill up more quickly. Fruits and vegetables contain fiber to help you feel full quickly. 7: Eat more whole grains and cut simple carbs. Whole wheat bread, oatmeal, whole wheat pasta, sweet potato, and brown rice are all excellent sources of energy and sources of nutrition. 8: Choose lean proteins instead of fatty ones. 9: Cut the salt from your diet. Eating more sodium causes your body to retain water, which can cause you to feel bloated and gain more weight. 10: Don't skip meals.When you skip meals, your body stops breaking down fat and starts breaking down muscle tissue. Muscle tissue burns more calories at rest than other tissues, so you're actually working against your goals 11: Eat at home. Going out to eat makes it too easy to cheat. Food sold at restaurants is commonly much higher in fat, sodium, and other weight-loss killers. 12: Give yourself a treat now and then. If you're attending a party or going out for a special occasion, allow yourself an indulgence. Just make sure that these indulgences don't become daily habits. 13: Go for a health walk. Gear up yourself daily for a health walk which not only shed off your extra calorie, but also reduces the stress levels. Medication: Start taking Schwabe's Phytolacca Berry tablets/ thrice daily 1/2 an hr before the meals for 1 month. Thereafter revert me back for further guidance. All the best!

I am a 46 years old male with no health related issues. However in the past week getting rashes (Hives) all over body. This I realized was only when I intake eggs in my meals. Is this possible? I am 25 now and been having lower back pain for a few years now. In 2007 I was involved in a car accident where we rolled a car 5 times and got ejected from the vehicle and ever since then the pain has slowly worsened but was manageable for awhile but now it hurts to sit or stand for long periods of time. Lying down lessens the pain but it doesn't fully go away. I've been taking tylenol and ibuprofen for awhile and it used to help but it doesn't help much anymore. Dyslexia is an ongoing difficulty that has to be managed by parents and teachers together. Parents specially should be keenly aware of the symptoms and many manifestations of a Learning Disability, and initiate immediate action if they suspect anything. The Dyslexia Association of India recommends a comprehensive test if need be. This assessment can serve to put at ease many a worry that may be plaguing a parents mind. It can serve as a platform for them to be able to understand what is actually going on in the child's academic sphere and how as the first line of defense you as a parent can help your child. We would like to share with you, that an assessment with the Dyslexia Association of India is a Not For Profit activity. In fact it is time and money well invested. Its is an investment in knowing the strengths and weakness of your child and making an attempt to understand the child better. As a parent there are several important facts to consider where you child is concerned. Early intervention and diagnosis is an absolute must. Several conditions can induce dyslexic type tendencies as far as academic performance is concerned. Hearing Impairment, Poor vision, Glare from the board, bright light, supersensitive hearing. Making sure the child feels valued and loved. This is just not the parents responsibility, this is important at school too. Remember your child will spend more time with other adults and their peers than they spend with you. A dyslexic child will probably not be able to remember the stuff he needs for school the next day. Few things related to headache so that we can plan the treatment accordingly - if pain is associated with blurred or decreased vision than check your eye sight for refractive error - if the pain is associated with cold and fever than we have to rule out sinusitis as the cause and if the pain is pulsatile in nature and with a throbbing pain usually with an aura than we have to rule out migrane as the cause - if the pain is associated with neck problems than we have to rule out cervical spondylosis as the cause - if the pain is associated with either low or high bp or due to hyperacidity than we have to treat the cause after examination.
