Hi Thank you for your query on Lybrate Foul smell of your mouth can be due to oral or systemic diseases. Kindly let me know if you have any systemic diseases. Mostly foul smell is due to oral diseases. Gum diseases and dental caries occurs due to accumulation of food debris and plaque which also cause foul smell of your mouth. Do not worry. Check if any of your teeth is decayed and get restored. Also undergo professional scaling from a dental clinic (Clinical teeth cleaning is good). You will also have to maintain oral hygiene by brushing, flossing and using mouth wash. You will get rid of foul smell. Thank you.

Dentist,

Hi Thank you for your query The cavity in your tooth should be restored. If it is a small cavity, normal restoration is enough. If the cavity is very deep, rct should be done. Do the treatment early to avoid its removal.

Treatments available for Teeth whitening are: 1.Tooth Bleaching and other procedures to remove surface stains. 2.Bonding, which coats the tooth with a hard resin that bonds to the enamel 3.Crowns 4.Veneers, which are custom-made shells that cover the front of the teeth to improve their appearance; these are used in cases of severe fluorosis.

Sir my mouth is full of ulcer and take many medicine but I'm not feel good so please tell me medicine.
Often, minor mouth sores often go away naturally within 10 to 14 days, but they can last up to six weeks. Some simple home remedies might help reduce the pain and possibly speed up the healing process. You may want to: - Avoid hot, spicy, salty, citrus-based, and high-sugar foods - Avoid tobacco and alcohol - Gargle with salt water and baking soda. - Take anti-pain medications if sores are painful. - Avoid squeezing or picking at the sores or blisters. If the sores do not go even after that go to your dentist so that the exact cause can be diagnosed and the treatment be given accordingly.

Your pain is due to infection caused by the cavity. You need to get the root canal treatment - RCT as soon as possible to avoid any complication. After the treatment a crown will be placed on that tooth to avoid breakage.

It’s not always clear what causes mouth ulcers that keep returning, but triggers are thought to include: - Stress and anxiety - Eating certain foods – such as chocolate, spicy foods, coffee, peanuts. - Toothpaste containing sodium lauryl sulphate Things you can do to speed up healing - Using a soft toothbrush to brush your teeth - Using a toothpaste that doesn’t contain sodium lauryl sulphate, as this may be irritating - Avoiding hard, spicy, salty, acidic or hot food and drink until the ulcer heals - Using a straw to drink cool drinks. - Gargle with salt water ad baking soda. Try these and see if there is any relief, if not you need to consult. I hope this helps.

Hello lybrate-user, The Condition you going through is known as Mid-line diastema. When a thickened labial frenum – the tissue band that connects the lips to the upper gum – is the cause of diastema, we often must work in cooperation with an oral surgeon to permanently close the gap. An oral surgeon can perform a frenectomy, which is a procedure to remove a portion of the thickened tissue. This procedure is required because otherwise, the tissue will continue to prevent us from bringing the two front teeth together with orthodontic treatment. Even when methods such as this are used to correct diastema, retention after treatment is paramount to prevent the teeth from gradually drifting apart once more. There was a time when orthodontists recommended wearing retainers for a year or two after completing orthodontic treatment. But these days, we recommend wearing your retainers a few times per week for life to ensure your teeth remain in proper alignment. This is particularly true for lifetime correction of diastema cases.

To avoid yellowing of teeth at home you can brush your teeth twice a day and use a mouthwash at night. Even then if you do not see a change then visit a periodontist for a professional cleaning of teeth. And if the yellowness is due to some internal stains then you can go for bleaching.

Hello as a home remedy you can apply baking soda over your teeth or do baking soda in water mouth rinses. If the ulcer persists, you need to consult a physician and get your Vitamin B levels checked. If required take supplements for it.

Sensitivity in teeth can be due to receding gum level which exposes root surface of the teeth. For sensitivity you can use desensitising toothpaste and a mouthwash at night. If it is not cured even then you can go for professional cleaning which restores gum level almost to normal even after only one sitting. It is also the remedy for yellowness of teeth.

Coming bad smell from mouth, even after brush.
What should I do to avoid bad smell?
Maintaining good oral health is essential to reducing bad breath, so be sure you schedule regular dental visits for a dental cleaning and checkup. Brush twice a day with fluoride toothpaste to remove food debris and plaque, and brush your tongue, too. Once a day, use floss or an interdental cleaner to clean between teeth.
