When I go for latrine some pain and blood has been come. But it is not regular, only some times it happens.
M.B.S.(HOMEO), MD - Homeopathy
The most common causes of rectal bleeding are hemorrhoids, ulcers, and anal fissures. Often called piles, hemorrhoids are swollen veins that appear at the bottom of the large intestine and outside the anus. Hemorrhoids are common, affecting about 75 percent of the population over the course of a lifetime. They are caused by excessive straining such as while making a bowel movement, sitting on the toilet too long, or, in women, pregnancy and giving birth. People who have persistent hemorrhoids are often constipated, overweight or obese, or eating a very low-fiber diet. Anal fissures, another cause of rectal bleeding, are tiny tears in the anus and anal canal commonly caused by straining with hard stools. They can usually be managed with treatment for constipation and the use of moistened wipes, which soothe the area around the anus. Anal fissures rarely require medical treatment or surgery. Light rectal bleeding or spotting due to constipation or hemorrhoids in people under 40 rarely needs medical attention. However, if your rectal bleeding is continuous or heavy, or accompanied by a feeling of faintness or nausea, see a doctor or go to the emergency room right away.

Hi Mr. lybrate-user Gall bladder is the organ which stores up bile produced by the liver and releases it only when the food reaches the small intestine since your gall bladder has been removed there is storage of bile and hence the bile gets constantly secreted into the intestines and there is decreased levels of digestion especially fatty foods so I suggest that you avoid carbonated or sugary drinks, fried foods, tea or coffee, as these foods cause lot of gas to accumulated since they take a long time to get digested I would suggest that you have small quantity of food in small intervals and have a balanced diet which includes fresh fruits and vegetable salads

I have hashimoto thyroiditis. Total thyroidectomy 3 years ago. My tsh is 180 and stays that level. Feel awful and er does not seem to care. Im on synthroid 200 mcg. Is something I should be worried about?
Usual requirent of thyroid hormone is less than 200 micrograms for hypothyroid. And it seldom requires 300 micrograms or more, and in that situation one should look for malabsorption, drug interaction or poor compliane as the cause. Please consult an Endocrinologist.

You have not mentioned whether yoiu are having hypo or hyperthyroidism. Hypothyroidism is treated with thyroid hormone ,dose of whih is guided by TSH level in blood indefinitly. Hyperthyroidis is treated with antithyroid mediines or surgery or radioactive iodine and you have to be under supervision of a physician.

Low energy levels, weight gain, bodyache, depression, dry skin, constipation, are some of the common clinical symptoms of Hypothyroidism. Some common issues include high blood sugar, High blood cholesterol and infertility. Rarely, Thyroid problem may be due to "Hyperthyroidism" (Increased thyroid hormone levels). The symptoms in that case are quite different.

Hello doctor last 2 month pehle mera thyroid badh gaya tha aur TSH level 15 tak badh gaya tha to doctor ne meri dose 150 mcg kar di thi. But now ab mera TSH level 0.27 h to ab mujhe kitni mcg tablet khani chaihiye.
lybrate-user, Thanks for the query. With TSH at 0.27 mU/L you have achieved a good control. With this I am sure there are no symptoms of hypothyroidism. Then it is better to continue the same dose. You may check TSH after another 8 weeks, if then it goes further down, then you may reduce the dose in consultation with your doctor. Because frequent changes will not help. Thanks.

I am 42 years male. Observed blood in stool. My job is travelling based. I usually Eating hotel food for almost 20 days. Thanks.
Hello. You should describe your complaints in detail. Like how much blood is lost, is it drops or splash, painfull or painless etc. It can be anal fissure or piles. To rule out that you require evaluation by a surgeon. Meanwhile avoid spicy food, hotel food. Do sitz bath and if motion is hard then take some laxative. Thanks. For further queries kindly consult online.

I am a pure vegetarian, and blood is coming in my stool for 2-3 days continuously. And it is at least 10-12drop. There is no difficulty in passing the stool. It has also occurred to me 3-4 month before but it was 1-2 drops at that time and it occurred me for 4-5 days with 1-2 days gap between. It was suddenly alright. But now from 2-3 days it is continuous. And in excess. Is it a sign of having piles or just a sign of having it in future. Pls sir/mam tell me what do do in this situation. What diet should I take and medications along with it.

Gall bladder stones operation package cost. Patient's age is 58 years. Patient has multiple cyst in liver also. Operation cost and suggestions required.
MBBS, M.S. General Surgery
Both the Gall bladder removal, (cholecystectomy), and drainage of liver cysts can be done by Laparoscopic method. This is much more convenient to the patient than open surgery, though the laparoscopic method may cost a little more. Operation package will differ from state to state and also depends on hospital to hospital. Usually private hospitals charge according to the ward or type of room the patient is occupying. It is very difficult for me to inform the charges of various hospitals in the country. This you can directly find out from the hospital nearest to your place of residence.

Mere thyroid ki problem h.aur weight badh rha h pichhle kuch time SE anxiety disorder h.mujhe jldi weight loss ke liye kya krna chahiye. please tell me.
lybrate-user, Thanks for the query. It is absolutely necessary to control hypothyroidism very effectively to succeed in your efforts to loose weight. For that TSH should be maintained around 3 to 4 mU/L. So first check TSH levels, then if needed increase the dose of thyroxine to bring TSH to desired level. Plus you will have to take a restricted diet and exercise daily for over 1 hour. Better if you join a gym. Thanks.

Starting thyroxine is not going to help you loose much weight. Repeat TSH after 3 months. Get your fasting blood glucose hba1c lipid profile blood pressure checked. Exercise daily for 1 hour. Follow healthy eating habits.
