What is cause of skin allergy? How it can be cured? Does drinking more water can fight against skin disease?
Mostly it is autoimmune. Means body creates antibodies against self. It is hypersensitive chain reaction. Homeopathy treatment reduces hypersensitivity.

Treatment Of Scabies!

BHMS
Homeopath, Bahadurgarh
Treatment Of Scabies!

Scabies is a skin infestation caused by a mite known as the sarcoptes scabiei. Untreated, these microscopic mites can live on your skin for months. They reproduce on the surface of your skin and then burrow into it and lay eggs. This causes an itchy, red rash to form on the skin.

Symptoms of scabies

After the initial exposure to scabies, it can take up to six weeks for symptoms to appear. The symptoms usually develop more quickly in people who’ve had scabies before. The hallmark symptoms of scabies include a rash and intense itching that gets worse at night. Continuous scratching of the infected area can create sores that become infected. If this occurs, additional treatment with antibiotics for the skin infection may be recommended.

Common sites for scabies in older children and adults include the:

Wrist

Elbow

Armpit

Nipple

Penis

Waist

Buttocks

Area between the fingers

Scabies in babies and toddlers, and sometimes the very elderly or immunocompromised, can include the:

Head

Face

Neck

Hands

Soles of the feet

The rash itself can consist of tiny bites, hives, bumps under the skin, or pimple-like bumps. The burrow tracks of the mite can sometimes be seen on the skin. They may appear as tiny raised or discolored lines.

Norwegian or crusted scabies-

Some people with scabies may develop another form of scabies known as norwegian scabies, or crusted scabies. This is a more severe and extremely contagious type of scabies. People with crusted scabies develop thick crusts of skin that contain thousands of mites and eggs.

Crusted scabies can also appear:

Thick

Gray

Easy to crumble when touched

Crusted scabies usually develops in people with weakened immune systems. This includes people with hiv or aids, people who use steroids or certain medications (such as some for rheumatoid arthritis), or people who are undergoing chemotherapy. The scabies mites can overpower the immune system more easily and multiply at a quicker rate. Crusted scabies spreads in the same way as normal scabies.

Causes-

Scabies is a highly contagious condition. If you have close contact with a person infested with the scabies mite, your chances of catching it are fairly high. Crowded living conditions, close body contact (e. G, sleeping in the same bed), even holding hands for a while can easily allow the mite to spread from one person to another.Since the scabies mite won't live away from a human body for more than a few days, direct contact is a much more likely source of transmission than clothing, bedding, or towels. The mites that cause scabies live specifically on humans - they can't be transmitted to or caught from animals, such as dogs.

A female mite lays 3 to 4 eggs per day, just under the surface of the skin. It takes about 2 weeks for these eggs to develop into larvae and finally adults, after which the adults emerge to the surface of the skin to mate. Once mating is complete, the adults reinvade the skin of their host or another person. The presence of the burrowing adult mite, eggs, and larvae cause a terrible itch. The number of infesting mites averages 5 to 10 but varies depending on the person's hygiene.

Diagnosis-

To diagnose scabies, your doctor examines your skin, looking for signs of mites, including the characteristic burrows. When your doctor locates a mite burrow, he or she may take a scraping from that area of your skin to examine under a microscope. The microscopic examination can determine the presence of mites or their eggs.

Preventions-

Maintain personal hygiene.
Change clothes, bed linens daily.
Regular daily bath.
Clothes & bed linens to be boiled in hot water, dried in sun & ironed.
Thorough scrubbing with soap & water.
Through drying of skin after bathing.
Treat all close contacts
Cool and soak your skin- soaking in cool water or applying a cool, wet washcloth to irritated areas of your skin may minimize itching.
Apply soothing lotion- calamine lotion, available without a prescription, can effectively relieve the pain and itching of minor skin irritations.

Diet managment for scabies-

Overall you want to avoid foods that contain natural histamines (your body is already creating enough to combat the mites) and foods that you are allergic too.

Here is a list of foods you might want to avoid or cut down on during your scabies infestation because they are high in histamines:

Red wine

Aged cheese

Citrus fruits

Fermented foods (sauerkraut, kombucha, yogurt)

Bacon (and other cured meats)

Seafood

Eggs

Artificial food colors and preservatives

Spices

Alcohol

Vinegar

Other foods that commonly cause allergic reactions, often involving skin irritation include:

Tree nuts

Milk

Soy

Wheat

Coloring, additives

Treatment-

In scabies, homeopathy is the best treatment option as homeopathic prescriptions are exceptionally capable in treating this type of disease. They invigorate the disease fighting mechanism of the body to fight scabies. As the healing system of the body is reinforced, the sickness is totally annihilated. It’s an approach that attacks the infection at the root and avert a repeat of the infection.

Everyday Skin Care Tip!

Diploma In Dermatology And Venerology And Leprosy (DDVL), M.H.U.S (Maharashtra University Of Health Sciences

Everyday Skin Care Tip!

1.Apply sunscreen everyday: Sun protection is the absolute most important component for healthy skin. Sun degrades the skin collagen and elastin, and affects our body's ability to create healthy new cells. So make it a resolution to never leave the house without applying sunscreen with a SPF of at least 30, even in winter and on cloudy days

2.Moisturiser: Applying moisturiser everyday boosts hydration in your skin, prevents flaking and dullness and creates a protective layer of moisture that lasts all day.

3.Drink plenty of water: The least difficult thing you can do ensure about that your skin care is legitimately hydrated is drinking more water. Drinking plenty of water help flush out toxins from your body.

4. Get sufficient sleep: Set a bedtime and stick to it so that your body gets used to sleeping on time.

5.Eat clean: Make sure you follow healthy diet. Junk food is worst enemy when it comes to getting clear and radiant skin. Make sure to eat all the fresh fruits, vegetables, nuts and proteins that you can get your hands on, and avoid junk food whenever possible.

6. Sweat it out on a regular basis: Physical exercise and staying active in general can do wonders for your skin. Make exercise a part of your daily routine.

There is a lot of hair fall in the hairstyle and the problem is that it can be good to say.

MBBS, MD - Dermatology , Venereology & Leprosy

There is a lot of hair fall in the hairstyle and the problem is that it can be good to say.
Hairfall in women may be of many types. Telogen effluvium, female pattern hair loss, chronic telogen effluvium, alopecia areata and many more. Therapy depends on the type of disease you are suffering from. Application of variety of hair oils present over the counter donot help in our experience. Women going bald like men is extremely rare. Response to treatment of hairfall in females is generally better. Consult a dermatologist and be on regular follow up.

I want to become a fair so which medicine I can eat or which cream or facewash I can use to become a fair.

MBBS, MD - Dermatology , Venereology & Leprosy
Dermatologist, Bangalore
I want to become a fair so which medicine I can eat or which cream or facewash I can use to become a fair.
Desire to have a lighter skin is common. However getting lighter skin tone than one’s natural tone is difficult. Sunscreens can be of a little help. Various therapies like glutathione, peels, creams, are available for this purpose. Drawback is that they are costly and need continuous maintainance as long as you desire the improved tone. Consult a dermatologist and discuss your possible options. We have seen people landing up with irreversible skin damage after the use of over the counter fairness creams. So kindly donot self medicate.
