A type of progressive but slow form of cancer that often starts in the intestine, rectum and other parts of the gut is called Carcinoid. The origin of these tumors are neuroendocrinol which means that they arise from the cells of the nervous and endocrine system. stomach cramps, abdominal pain and diarrhea are common symptoms.
