Seborrhea is a common skin disorder that affects the scalp. The condition causes scaly patches, red skin and dandruff that wouldn’t go. The condition is primarily related to scalp but may also affect other areas of the body like the face, upper chest and back. There can be stinging and itching in the affected areas.

Medicated shampoos, lotions and creams are the primary treatments for Seborrheic. In certain cases, the doctor may prescribe light therapy to treat Seborrhea.
