Nose Infection is when the nasal activities become swollen and inflamed. Nose Infection is essentially caused by a virus and in some cases, Nose Infection is triggered due to allergies, tooth infection and nasal polyps. Some of the common symptoms of Nose Infection include headache, loss of smell, upper teeth pain, fatigue, cough, fever and many more.
HOW IS NOSE INFECTION DIAGNOSED?
Diagnosis would be done by an ENT, who would do an Xray to check for internal injuries and also inspect the nasal area.
HOW IS NOSE INFECTION TREATED?
Acute sinusitis caused by a viral infection will not need any treatment. Rest and some pain relievers will help. Chronic sinusitis will need a prescription of antibiotics.
