HOW IS NOCARDIOSIS TREATED?
Nocardiosis is an illness that requires at least 6 months of treatment. The medications that are primarily used here include trimethoprim or sulfamethoxazole. Along with these, high doses of sulfonamides are also given. Some patients can be given sulfonamide treatment too.
