Monoplegia is a condition in which a single limb is paralysed. Usually arm is paralyzed due to Monoplegia. Monoplegia is usually associated with cerebral palsy. It can also affect a single muscle. Symptoms vary depending on the affected limb:
• Difficulty in walking
• Spastic gait
• Muscle weakness
• Affected head movements
• Decreased sensation
• Numbing or tingling sensation in arms and feet
• Curling of fingers or toes+C73
• Pain in areas near the limb
HOW IS MONOPLEGIA DIAGNOSED?
Diagnosis of the same is done by a general physician who would check you for these symptoms and do a biopsy, USG and scan because this form of cancer is the most difficult to detect.
HOW IS MONOPLEGIA TREATED?
Treatment for Gallbladder Cancer includes radiation and chemotherapy. In other cases, there may be complete removal of the gall bladder if the same seems to have spread and could risk a spread to your digestive tract also. Palliative treatment is also done alongside with enhancing quality of life post treatment.
