Laryngitis is defined as the inflammation of the larynx, which is also referred to as the voice box. The most common forms of treatment here include warm water gargle with salt, antibiotics to curb the infection, corticosteroids to reduce the swelling of the vocal cords. Home remedies like ginger tea and hot soups are also suggested.
