To diagnose this disorder a gynaecologist would recommend blood test to check hormone levels. An endometrial biopsy may be performed to check the uterus lining. Hysterosalpingography and laparoscopy are other tests that might be performed to confirm the diagnosis of this disorder.
HOW IS INFERTILITY IN WOMEN TREATED?
Infertility in women can be treated by removing any tumours or polyps in the uterus through a hysteroscopy and laparoscopy. Medications such as clomiphene citrate could be prescribed to women with ovulation problems. Procedures such as in vitro fertilization and intrauterine insemination can help a woman to get pregnant.
