Hypophosphatasia is a rare metabolic bone disease. Hypophosphatasia may sometimes be fatal in certain patients. It is an inherited disease that affects the development bones and teeth. Symptoms of Hypophosphatasia are:

HOW IS HYPOPHOSPHATASIA DIAGNOSED?
Diagnosis of the same can be done through dental examination that holds the first traces of these signs. The general physician may also do a radiography testing along with lab tests to check the alkaline levels.
HOW IS HYPOPHOSPHATASIA TREATED?
Treatment for the same depends on the extremity of the disease. The FDA has approved asfotase alfa (Strensiq) treatment of hypophosphatasia. The same is implementing along with maintaining calcium balance in the body through supplements and also with regular dental and orthopedic interventions to contain the same.
