Hypersomnia is a condition where an individual feels extremely sleepy. A somnologist may conduct a detailed enquiry about your symptoms and your sleep habits. Diagnostic tests like blood tests, CT scan and a sleep test called polysomnography are commonly followed for diagnosis.
