Since the virus causing this condition has been identified as Hepatitis C, the disorder is also called by the same name. Some people may see some symptoms and others may not. Treatment of Hepatitis C can be done through medication. Most cases can be cured by medication alone. These medications are consumed orally until the infection subsides. The gastroenterologist must choose a drug combination that has minimum side effects that may result in other related health issues.
