Treatment of Hepatic Encephalopathy depends on the severity of the disease. The doctor may also consider the trigger for the episodes, type of symptoms and age and overall health before deciding on treatment. Lactulose and antibiotics are used for treating the disease. Dietary changes are also recommended.
