HOW IS EYELID INFLAMMATION DIAGNOSED?
Diagnosis and testing by the ophthalmologist includes a general eye check up. If the problem continues to persist, specialised testing to check for upper eyelid cysts may be done.
HOW IS EYELID INFLAMMATION TREATED?
For mild inflammations that are not due to any specific disease, regular washing of the eye with warm water or applying a warm compress is enough. Steroid eye drops may be prescribed for treating an eye infection. Antibiotic course is required for treating eyelid infections
