Sports Injury is any damage to muscle, bones or tissue due to strenuous physical workout or sport activity. Sports Injury can also result from poor training technique or exercising. Common types of Sports Injuries are ankle sprain, groin pull, shin splints, knee injury, tennis elbow and hamstring strain. Symptoms of Sports Injury are:

Diagnosis of a sports injury is based on doing X-ray and scans along with checking for inflammation of joints.
HOW IS SPORTS INJURY TREATED?
Usually, common sports injuries are mild or moderate — there's some damage, but everything is still in place. A pain killer is used for relieving pain. Proper exercise and physiotherapy are all treatment modalities. In worst cases surgery is treatment such as when there is a ligament tear for example.
