The sexual disorders can be classified into desire disorders, arousal disorders, orgasm disorders or pain disorders. Symptoms of sexual disorders in men can be inability to achieve erection, absent or delayed ejaculation or premature ejaculation. In women, the signs could be pain or lack of orgasm among others.

Treatment is based on the diagnosis. Medications, mechanical aids, sexual therapy and behavioural treatments are suggested for dealing with the condition.
