Septoplasty is a surgical process of correcting a deviated septum, the cartilage that divides the two nostrils. During the procedure, the septum is straightened and repositioned in the middle of the nose.
HOW IS SEPTOPLASTY DIAGNOSED?
The surgical procedure is performed in cases when there is a severe deformation. Having some deviation of the septum is common. When a deviated septum is severe, it can block one side of your nose and reduce airflow, causing difficulty breathing.

The ENT surgeon will take your pictures and conduct a physical examination to identify your general health before performing the surgery.
